I didn't ask for reasons on why Alcohol should be illegal. Alcohol is just as dangerous as eating fast food if not done responsibly. I'm saying that people pick and choose when both the drugs very similar.

I have yet to hear a con to Cannabis that is worse than Alcohol.

The question was " should Mary Jane be legal?" I'm just providing my views on why it should remain illegal, I'm not being a hypocrite. I'm not picking and choosing, I like doing both, drugs are fun, but I still feel the responsible thing for everyone and most importantly, the future, is to keep all drugs that impair your mental and motor skills, not approved by the FDA, illegal.

 

And that's fine. Your fine to have your opinion. But when you mention how illigality of the drug will help in the future consider this:

People have been smoking pot for thousands of years... and somehow they managed to carry on with thier futures... without FDA.

Different times now-a-days, I know. But my point remains the same...

For the thousands of years before the 20th century marijuana was hardly a recreational drug and used primarily for medicine and religous purposes. Alcohol has been a recreational drug since, I'm guessing, the person who discovered it got wasted.

 

Actually they just discovered the worlds oldest know stash in asia, and said that judging by the makeup of the plant, it appeared to be grown more for the psycedelic properties, rather than the fiberous one's often sought after for hemp. Plus a spirtual and recreational experience are subjective. I still find blazing to be very spirtual.

Yeah them damn asians have been tokin up for a while now. And I sure pot in religion have been around for a long time. Just everyone was too stoned to document it

 

Have you seen Bill Maher's "Religilous"? He found this religion in Amsterdam that literally smokes pot all day as a religion. The guy he interviewd wasn't able to give any good examples as to how the religion is any different from just getting wasted, but it's a valid religion. lmao cracks me up.
