You didn't read the article, did you? We're talking about marijuana, not tobacco.

sorry i couldnt really explain it, and very true...but cant that be prevented? No cell phone, more sperm less chance of a tumor. no pot, less chance of cancer. i dont really care how you want to die, but id rather live as long as possible, then wasting my golden years messing my future up.

I don't ever recall you stating that you knew how to use marijuana for medical purposes, so this post is irrelevant. Please find a better argument.

    Study Finds No Cancer-Marijuana Connection - washingtonpost.com

    http://www.drugpolicy.org/marijuana/factsmyths/
"Myth: Marijuana is Highly Addictive. Long term marijuana users experience physical dependence and withdrawal, and often need professional drug treatment to break their marijuana habits.

Fact: Most people who smoke marijuana smoke it only occasionally. A small minority of Americans - less than 1 percent - smoke marijuana on a daily basis."

"Myth: Marijuana is More Damaging to the Lungs Than Tobacco. Marijuana smokers are at a high risk of developing lung cancer, bronchitis, and emphysema.

Fact: Moderate smoking of marijuana appears to pose minimal danger to the lungs. Like tobacco smoke, marijuana smoke contains a number of irritants and carcinogens. But marijuana users typically smoke much less often than tobacco smokers, and over time, inhale much less smoke. As a result, the risk of serious lung damage should be lower in marijuana smokers. "

Yeah, a joint has no filter, and Marijuana has THC. Different, yes. But my point still stands.

Actually, I don't see how your point is still valid. THC is completely different than tar in cigarettes, so I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to say.

Alcohol and cigarettes are both worse for your health than marijuana.

You still haven't even answered my question:

Why start in the first place? Even if nothing's been proven, why take the risk? Why would you potentially put your health on the line just to get high?

I'm afraid I have to go now, gentlemen, but it certainly has been fun. I love a good debate. I do respect your opinions, and I really have no problem with smoking, so long as it's not me doing it. I just think it's not a good idea. But there we go with the opinions again.

If you use a bong it's water filtered and if you vape the THC is boiled off and that's all you inhale, you can always make food using cannabutter instead.

Because what it all boils down to is your lifestyle. I like to go to 'social gatherings' and such, and smoking a few blunts is always great fun.

Yea vapes are nice, really clean if you care that much about your lungs.
