I've never been a fan of platformers but I bought this on a whim and I'm hooked, definitely worth your .99

Yeah, this is much easier to control than the Flash version. Just finished the first 9 levels, but I managed stars on only two of them -- my speed has been a tad pathetic. Would love to see a bit more variety in the obstacles and environments, but the overall level design is excellent. The pixel art suits the game very well.

Seems like a winner to me...

Any chance of seeing an iPad version or universal update? It looks really cool but its too hard to play on the iPad (arrow buttons too far apart etc..).

Great game. Much better than the flash version in my opinion. But bring over the hard levels from the flash version! I just got past level 20 and I've 3 starred 15 levels on the first try! ;)
Great fun though. Best new app of today.

I agree. Really great game but hard to play on the iPad due to the arrow button placement.

So I've played for a while now and have gotten to level 34. Overall, my impressions are very positive. Fun and creative levels leave me begging for more. Controls are well done and feel great. My only gripe with the game so far is the difficulty. They feel scattered. One level seems very easy while the next one requires a lot of skill to pass. Besides that, Great Game!

Loving it... but I got to level 20 with 3 stars and all cases in less than 10 minutes.

Would love to see some harder levels.

Its so much fun. As people say here the controls are perfect. It remains me a lot like SuperMeatBoy but without the blood, please make an option to add blood. 50 new levels are on the way and i hope new obstacles as well....

While I love the game I have to disagree on perfection.

The arrows for lateral movement are to far from the bottom right edge of the screen. To move left on an iphone isn't too bad of a stretch but on an ipad it's going to be much harder. If they were moved closer to the edge it would be on par with Pizza Boy for best controls.

    Some other small issues:
OpenFeint is only in Counter Clockwise Landscape. While the game rotates for iPhone users (allowing full access to speaker and headphone jack) the OF screens and all OF notifications are upsidedown.

The Mission Select screen needs a small indicator that there are more screens (like the dots showing multiple pages on the iOS homescreen). It seems silly but I guarantee some users will never attempt to swipe the screen.

Once you start a level you only have the option to Continue, Restart, or go to the Main Menu. There is no way to just go to the Mission Select screen without going to the main menu.

Nothing game breaking but it's those little things that are easy fixes that take away from an otherwise fantastic game.

sorry to be the killjoy but i found this game immensley dull.

visually its crisp, controls are fine, nice chip tune to keep you bouncing along but theres just little variety and sense of danger.

i admit i only did 8 or 9 levels but that was enough for me. deleted :(
