I also like the idea of being chased by a wall of spikes over a longer straight level. or having the roof and ceiling close in on you but with safe spots to get to and then it goes back up
I like the space / alien and egyptian suggestions made earlier. Your jungle plans and ninja idea sound like fun too. How about a jail break scenario? With prison guards after you initially, and later swat teams. Instead of reaching scientists in each level, you reach the door to the next stage of the escape....until you eventually reach freedom.
Here's an idea! Make ALL of these and make every other one an in app purchase I know, I know, that's unrealistic and it'd take a lot of work. But a guy can dream right?
I vote for this levels, sounds awesome: No floor level pack Pyramid level pack Jailbreak escape level pack Cant wait for these, this game is so awesome. Best platformer on iOS And please, no IAP on this one. Dont be greedy
I bought this game on sale and I just wanted to say that I really like it I love how responsive the controls are!
Awesome! Glad you like it! To put your mind's at ease; we will not be doing IAP's. You guys will continue to get value added to your existing purchases. The reason for that is that we want you guys to love the game so much that you tell your friends to buy it (if your being generous, GIFT it to them)! As long as well have sales we will continue to provide more levels for you guys!
The scientists shrink our hero and he has to use his platforming skills to get through a house, garden etc to find whatever he needs to get made big again. You could use bugs as the enemies, water droplets coming from the ceiling etc etc... would be good fun and much more opportunity for your creativity than the boring 'same old same old' environments suggested by others On the note above I have talked lots of people into buying and gifted it to another
I think a Throwback theme would be cool, maybe make levels similar in style to the original Castlevanias or other similar NES games would be a cool idea seeing as how this is already a pretty epic NES inspired title it would be cool to pay homage to those games.
I kept the idea on the lite version when it came out, so is now worth it? more difficult levels, variety, challenge, etc?
Of course it's worth it! Where else are you going to get the Impossible Mission's and the new Jungle update coming soon?
hey ravenousgames, have you guys considered adding some long levels in a future update? level length along the lines of wario land for the gameboy? cause even if there's just a few levels like that, I would lose my freaking mind. and give you more of my money. I just love platformers, and league of evil gets me feeling nostalgic for gameboy platformers every time I play.
I was late to the party, but I'm really enjoying LoE. I recommend getting this game, if anyone isn't sure. As everyone says, the controls are great...and the difficulty levels are spot on. So far I can beat the levels, but it takes several attempts, which is perfect. The "impossible" missions may be a different story, but I'll give them a go! To thank the developers for their great game, low price, add-ons and for taking the time to talk with us on TouchArcade, I'll gift this app to two friends.
Just wanted to reiterate what I just wrote in my itunes review since I see ravenous is active on this thread. Just got this game on sale, beat the first two worlds and several impossible levels, and I LOVE it. As soon as I (if I lol) beat the rest of the impossible levels, beating this game will be comparable in my video game achievements list alongside beating Mario's Lost Levels (which is my current hardest game ever beat) Really great job, especially on the controls which are as good as they can be on a touch screen. Two quick gripes though: the game lags occasionally which almost always gets me killed and like one time in 20 my character has no movement animation. Still my favorite iPhone game to date though.
Bought the game full price and don't regret it. If anyone is on the fence, don't hesitate and grab this bargain my favourite Platformer.
