There are other packs, one costing $30.99AUD and that's at a 50% discount! #

    Edit;
Playing on an iPad Pro 12.9". I find the overhead view too restrictive. Game is really crying out for a zoom feature.

Wouldn't worry much about starter pack (especially since weapons in the game break, so I assume these do as well). They are really there to support the dev. A gold pack to speed up travelling can be worth it though, at least for the times when you feel impatient and wanna discover more.

But really good game, got me hooked more than I have been in a long time on an iOS game. :)

    It's not Durango, different game.
You could just download it and try it out.
No one else's opinion can match your own experience...

You hold finger on an item and it tells you what it is and it's usage.
Dunno if it was using my 3D Touch to bring this info up... or you just hold on it

How do you go to the toilet? I get the bladder icon come up, so assume it means I need the toilet... or does it mean I need to drink?

In your inventory you'll see a pencil next to your name, you can change it there.

The big right button turns into a toilet icon when you have to pee - just hit it.
I prefer to be standing over a dead zombie or player when I do that, but that's up to you hehe

Collecting water and growing food and cooking etc take time of course. It doesn't stop you from playing. You can always eat berries, cans of food, or raw meat.

EDIT: I think what you are calling the "bladder icon" is the stomach. It means your hungry

Wow, this is good. I mean really good! What a surprise and kind of sad this one isn't getting more fan fare. Admittedly I'm not far in yet, but what I've seen and played is spot on. I hope they don't dumb it down for those who don't like the punishing survival mechanics.

This is the kind of game where I don't mind the in app purchases and the timers actually make sense and seem to add to the game so far. I'm sure some will still be turned off by this, but there are plenty of other Apps in the store for those guys/girls ;-)

Definitely would recommend people giving this a spin, or at least keeping an eye on it.

You can recover stuff from your dead body if you can find it.
You can forage for fallen branches and rocks to make some tools.
You can delete and redownload load the game.

    Hey Gang,

Does anyone know if there is there a way to repair damaged gear, such as an outfit? I went through a couple pair that I didn't mind losing but now I'm down to my good clothes and weapons and realized I haven't figured out how to, or even if I can repair them when that time comes:

Has anyone been through a horde attack? Wondering what sort of level of defensive is required?
My shack looks like a bit of harsh language would take it down.

Always get kinda sad when I read "I hope they don't dumb it down". Sounds so elitism. Like calling a harder difficulty "For no-lifers". Not needed. :) If it is an option I am all for it. And one I requested earlier in this thread. Options for people that prefer an easier offline challenge - or a harder one - can only be a good thing. Though I actually think the way it is is perfect, as soon as you get a field and rain collector, it seems fine.

I totally agree with the timers. First game where I feel it makes sense and actually adds to the game.

And YES: Give it a spin! It's damn awesome. :)
