You'll find you may have to upgrade walls and/or floors, for reasons other than defence. Building/Placing later items often requires they be "installed" on better floors or walls. A somewhat early example of this is the motorcycle. Building it initially just means setting aside some floor space for the project, which requires second-tier flooring (for no logical reason other than to make you spend lots of resources you otherwise wouldn't). (And yes, building some things like vehicles isn't actually building, but merely an "entry fee" to the main project. Really annoying they don't inform you beforehand, as there's no opt-out if you decide it's just a drain on resources and want all those wires and rubber back.)
Are purchased items indestructible then? I haven't bought any of that kit, so I don't understand. If bought items can lose durability like most everything else, then does that mean once the beta is over, the reset will include a new, second copy of any items purchased and "used up" during beta?
Yeh I know that lol but you do not have to upgrade walls at all just floors . Until people can actually raid your camp there's really no reason to have the strongest walls
It makes me feel cozy and safe.. # But yeah that's true, at most you'll lose one wall to a horde if you're careful. But I'm at the point where there's nothing else for me to do except trick out my base so...
I was going to suggest overcompensation for feelings of inadequacy, but yeah, that cozy & safe feeling too. # I think I'm against the pointy stick defenses. They seem to be more costly and they get destroyed instead of a wall if you place them accordingly. They're only handy if any mobs are lurking around your home, allowing you to lure them from one corner to another so they pass multiple pointy sticks and die risk-free.
I may have to eat my last post. I just saw pointy sticks used well (though in shockingly large quantities). Monk or GodOfWar on Server 1? Either of you around TA? Nice layouts. Respect. On a related note, did anyone else know that we can visit our neighbours and nick their stuff? I'm assuming it's not really their stuff, like the fake "other players" who show up to kill you and you loot their bodies. Anyway, I sure hope when this goes live our homes aren't open to constant raids that require use of time-limited shields to avoid. I hate that game mechanic.
What's the deal with vehicles? I can't build most of the stuff at my level because I still can't travel anywhere. Where are the motorcycle fuel tanks or handlebars? I'm level 38 and I'm still confined to pine wood and iron metal. Oh, and F-U rubber parts! If there's such a massive rubber shortage in the apocalypse, maybe let us plant rubber trees?! Meanwhile, I could fill a chest full with transistors. Zombies must not like transistor factories. I'll soon be unable to do anything commensurate with my level. Tom Hanks got around fine on that island without having to be an auto mechanic first. Maybe if Wilson had been an IAP...
Game Last Day on Earth: Survival Is interesting and attractive game. Last Day on Earth is a free multiplayer zombie survival strategy game, where all survivors are driven by one target: stay alive and survive as long as you can and shoot walking dead zombies. There is no place left for friendship, love and compassion. A deadly plague pandemic has turned the world into a dead zone. You can trust only yourself in this post apocalyptic world infected with walking dead zombies. I download game in here: http://actionapk.com/Last-Day-on-Earth.html
Still playing and enjoying this game. Going on slowly bit by bit. I'd buy some of the packs to support the game but with the durability thing and then breaking I don't think I'll do that
Can't build the vehicles, the radio tower, and most things. Oak and steel aren't in the game yet. The oak trees are on the map as a taunt. So close yet so far. The other camps you can visit aren't real people they're just there as a way to show players what the game is expected to be like eventually when multiplayer is added. Right now all other player related stuff including their actual characters are ai with usernames attached for authenticity.
I'm still having a blast with this game, I'm taking my sweet time though, just playing bit by bit. I know many aren't thrilled with the energy bar, but since I don't sit down and play IOS games for hours at a time this is perfect for me. I play for a bit then when I come back it's like a new quest, or episode if you will in my conquest to survive. Dev remaining active is definitely another plus.
You're sh*ting me! There's no way to complete a vehicle? And the ones I've seen at my (apparently fake) neighbors are a cruel taunting lie? Well, crap! Now I'm just bored. What's the point of going any farther in the game except increasing my level, which will be reset back to 1 anyway? So many levels wasted stockpiling so much stuff! And again, F*** YOU, RARER-THAN-UNOBTAINIUM RUBBER PARTS!
Lol yeh the game is still technically in beta stages they keep saying they're gonna add stuff but every time a new update comes out it's just fixes or rearranging schematics. They pushed the raid patch to whenever, the server update was supposed to be out but that got pushed because they have a new team and they're still learning the game I guess . They're working on new areas and stuff but who knows when that will come. They didn't promise no data wipe but they did say they were sure they can save some user data when they switch servers so they think we will lose a few levels but not the whole thing.

I'm feeling the same really (except a little less caps locked ). I have a decent amount of items (ones available) but I don't have the drive to want to play more knowing I can't progress. No doubt this game so far is great and has a sh!t-load of potential so I will be patiently waiting but for now, sadly, I can't find much of an excuse to fire the game up.
Enjoyed scavenging for gear and slowly building a camp. When I say slowly I mean very, very slowly. Unless your willing to pay for energy that is. Biggest issue was the game glitching out during combat. Controls simply locked up til I died and lost all my hard earned gear. After the second time this happened I just deleted the game. Thankfully I didn't purchase any gear or I would have been out some coin.
This game stole my money In the midst of fighting zombies my game shuts off and brings me back to my home screen. I open the game again and it asks me what server do I want, without thinking I click on the server that I was on before. Then it has me completely restarted from the beginning. I bought a few things and that is all gone now. I don't know what to do. Any thoughts?
