For anyone interested, this was posted on the devs Facebook page "We are truly grateful for the support you give to us, guys. We value our players so much, and we also understand players' hesitation in finding new resources and unlocking new stuff, but what was supposed to be a small beta became a really large game with thousands and thousands of players. We do our best to answer all questions you send to us and release updates as soon as possible, but we can't give access to everything just yet. Our team is growing, it takes time for our new programmers to understand how things work. We don't want our players to experience bugs and issues just because we are in a hurry. We want a stable enjoyable game as much as possible. We receive many questions about data wipe after the beta. We cannot confirm it right now. A few weeks ago we were sure that the wipe is inevitable. We were about to post that, but.. now things are different. We might save some data. We'll do our best to save as much as possible. But anything can happen. Regarding items you buy for real money, you’ll definitely have all of them on your accounts after the beta ends. We can confirm that something will be erased for sure. Learned recipes for example (points will be refunded of course). As for "big things". Next week is a major server update followed by a major raids update. Language update is the closest "small one". Thank you one more time for supporting the game."

The only thing I hate is when you lose everything and there's no control over it. If you go somewhere and get atkd by the big one you have to run. Then it's either try another area near by or go home, reset and go back. So you go to the nearest area and die by ai survivor with a gun. That's definitely something that needs to be fixed I'm not sure how exactly tho

It's a decent start guide there's a few incorrect statements. 1 . If your energy is 70 or above the events won't show. 2. When you leave a place (not your home or military bunkers) if you go home the other areas reset, so it's not possible to loot your corpse because once you're home and go back it's gone everything is gone even the level you were in and replaced with a new fresh one . 3. The survivors you encounter are ai so they don't loot your body if you die.
If they where going to delete everything as this is a Beta why would they have IAP? Shouldn't they implement that after their official release? That's gonna pisss many players off who spent money. Also telling at this stage with the information feels like this small company wants to rip us off and shut the game down like some other devs.
Any gold bought will likely be replaced in the event of a full reset. I'm not sure how they will do it if they decide to only roll back certain things.

Haha! That happened to me. I was standing there taking care of "business" when the walker just ran up and started attaching me.
Oh yeah that's happened before and you can't do anything until you finish. lol that's how I learned don't drink a beer unless you are completely clear cause a beer is auto pee lol that's what I did in the screenshot the survivor had a beer on him so I knew if I drank it I'd be able to get a screenshot of my character peeing on his body
That's what I thought as well but I have encountered random events while I've had above 70 energy. Random events seem to happen after you travel to an area using energy, regardless of how much energy you have left afterwards. I've never died (I'm very lucky, I'm sure) so my after-death part of the guide was assumed from statements of other players who have died. I probably should have fact-checked it with more players to make sure it was true. Thanks for the heads up!
Lucky to have events with energy above 70 I've never had one until I've gone below 70. There's been a few people with the same thing as well. I'm lvl 71 or 72. I started playing the day the game showed up on the App Store. So I dunno.
That's pretty strange... I started playing a week or so ago and I've had 1 or 2 random events with 85 energy left. In both instances I ran to a close area (15 energy cost) and a random event popped up soon afterwards. I haven't had it occur often though. It must be a rare occurance or something. Have the devs shed light on anything near this subject? It would be interesting to see what they have to say about the random events!
They seem to be fairly quiet about details they posted about some upcoming updates and some details about data loss but that's about it. Their Facebook page is where they seem to post most often but still pretty rare.
Anyone brave enough to build the chopper at the enemy base? I want to build mine to max possible currently then maybe build theirs as they have the parts I don't. Could be a gamble and waste of time but with a possible wipe of some sort coming everything is a waste of time
