Is there somewhere to see stats? I.E. Longest run, most coins collected, total distance run, enemies killed, etc. I've looked everywhere and don't see anything. I've had a few decent runs, but have no idea how they compare overall.
Maid into the the 50s on the distance leaderboard I never do so well. Still haven't managed to kill that damned tree though I have gotten him down to the last bar.
Is it possible for an endless runner to be too beautiful? I would argue yes. The graphics are gorgeous, with lush environments that really evoke the Tomb Raider feel. BUT the scenes are so visually busy that it's often difficult to tell where the safe path is. Many times I've died because I didn't know which direction to swipe. Sometimes I couldn't tell exactly what I did wrong even after I died. Contrast that with the best runners, where it's always obvious where the safe path is--it's just your job to react quickly enough. I'm going to give it a few more tries, because I really want to love this game. It seems to have lots of variety in its gameplay, upgrades and unlockables. But it's just too difficult to tell where I'm supposed to be going.
Endless runner? I'm on board. Lara Croft? I jump off just to get back on again. XD agree that it gets confusing at times to figure out the safe path. Particularly some ruin like ramps for me. Also, can anyone help me with the T. Rex please? The part where he opens it's mouth I can't dodge it and always die.
I already wrote about it on page 9, but you probably missed it, so here goes again: When the T-Rex is running towards you, there are just two options. You can either slide underneath or swipe to one of the sides, whichever is free. Depends on situation. There's nothing else you can or have to do. It's really just matter of practice.
This is so, so , so so good!! This is how runners should be made, interesting, challenging, varied and fun. I'll have to buy something to support th devs as this is too good for free.
How do you pass the part where the lizard cuts the tree trap when you're riding the ATV? I always die if that comes up.
Does anyone have a list of all the gem costs in this game? I bought the outfit pack, because the other outfits costed gems just to unlock. I figured I would just upgrade everything else over time with coins. I just found that the final upgrade for the dual pistols costs 50 gems. Now I'm wondering if the weapon upgrade IAP is cheaper than doing them all individually. I hate hidden gems costs like this! If I buy the weapon IAP now, the coins I spent on weapon upgrades already will basically be wasted. Had I known the weapon upgrade costs would switch from coins to gems, I would have spent my coins somewhere else while I waited to find out whether the fully upgraded wapon pack was the better deal or not. Now I'm wondering about the other upgrades... I know the coin trails upgrades don't have gem costs at all, because I finished those off, so hopefully the rest are the same.
I can't really answer that but I know the game overall is pretty generous with gems if you are patient. You find some every few runs and then supply drops can often give you gems. So it's not like other games where you reach a certain goal and you receive 1 gem but never enough to buy anything.
I bought the outfit that boosts hints with gems from the supply pack alone and i didn't even took that long to collect them. All other upgrades are maxed already, with coins only if i remeber correctly. Haven't upgrades guns though as i didn't feel a need for them as of yet. I focused on unlocking the second level.
Final upgrade for ALL weapons is with gems only. Dual pistols are 50 gems, other weapons 150, as far as I know. For the launcher it might be even higher, I'm not sure about that last one. And as you mentioned already, costumes costs gems only, not coins.
Thanks for the relies, folks. Ok, I'll just stick with my original plan, then. I only need a few more gems to upgrade the pistols. I'll just save up gems for the final weapon upgrades. Thanks!
As endless runners go, I quite like this one. However, the fact it doesn't even let me see my own personal high score (or any other stat other than longest run) is sort of a dealbreaker. A big part of the fun of these games is seeing how you stack up and improve over previous runs, and there's none of that sense of progression here.
Outfits and gem costs I've bought each of the premium outfits and upgraded Bomber Pilot twice (so can at least see cost for last upgrade). Looks like they all follow the same pattern: Buy: 150 Upgrade 1: 125 Upgrade 2: 200 Upgrade 3: 250 Total upgraded cost for one outfit = 725 Total upgraded cost for all 3 outfits = 2,175 In the UK at least, that means buying gems to get all outfits and upgrade them is going to be about £13, compared to £9 for the outfits pack, so you save about 30% by buying the pack. That said, the benefit of the last upgrade on an outfit (for Bomber Pilot anyway) is marginal, especially compared to the cost, so you'd do very nearly as well without it. Buying and upgrading one outfit just twice = 475, do that for all 3 = 1,425... and that's £8 vs £9 for the outfit pack getting you that marginal upgrade. While I'm at it, here's the scaling for the Bomber Pilot (I took screenshots at each stage): Bought: +1 Base Score / +5% Clue Spawn / +10s Clue Booster Upgrade 1: +2 / +5% / +15s Upgrade 2: +3 / +5% / +20s Upgrade 3: +4 / +5% / +25s Weapons and gem costs So far I've fully upgraded the pistols (last upgrade 50 gems), Dual SMGs (last upgrade 150 gems) and Assault Rifle (last upgrade 150 gems). So, seems probable that all the other weapons cost 150 for the final upgrade. In that case, the gem cost to upgrade them all = 50 + 5*150 = 800. In the UK that's £5.60 in gems, vs £11 for the fully upgraded weapon pack. Obviously with that pack you're also paying so skip the grind for those coins, and I didn't watch those costs so can't speak for how much that might save you!
