Yeah, it looks fine. Would love to see it go retina, but considering the size of the environments and the amount of enemies the game puts on screen without dropping framerate (level 4 had at least twenty plus a giant t-Rex), I'm happy with the current resolution.
I bought this and like many others, it crashes for me after every cut scene . I hope an update to fix this nasty bug comes as soon as possible.
75-80% device brightness and 0% in game brightness is what I'm playing at and my battery is doing just fine, played a good 2 hours and went down maybe 15-20% battery life.
Help!!!!!!!!!! Is anyone having trouble with the bridge in the spider tomb? the spikes go down, enabling me to cross, but it won't let me. Even jumping results in death.
Ran into the same glitch -- the most annoying so far. Unfortunately, the only thing that worked was doing the level over again. On the second run there wasn't a problem going onto the bridge.
If it bugs out at this bridge, the spikes are there but not visible. All you do is spear the column to the right, climb up, and jump over to the bridge, then hoist yourself up. Old school PS2 environment hacks lol. It glitched on my second play through working on achievements, I did the method I described above and it was all good. Railgun and Uzis completely own, this is how you 1shot mobs
Yes, but this is because every site copies the Touch Arcade reviews word for word. This is (besides Aralon) the best release of December, 16th!
Banyone else having buggy game center? Never syncs, even tried deleting the game and replaying everything, still not syncing. In fact turning gamecenter on causes some initial crashes. Other than that yes the cut scenes crashes the thing, so skipping all cut scenes is all i can do now. Need a fix asap
Huh? I just bought this last night and fun from the start. The controls work great and theres nothing that really detracts from the actual game play so far in my experience. In fact I've yet to have a problem playing. Really glad to have gotten this game. Forget the naysayers....this game really is worth it to play.
It is the most addictive game I've purchased this past week. However, I must coincide with some of the negative responses. This game lacks effort. I know for a fact that this could be more like its console counter-part. It was obviously rushed for the holidays. I just hope they patch this properly, with the destructible environments and mega-textures. Even COD zombies was a better translation than this.
Completely Agree. I feel Harry Potter and this game have managed to bring real full games to iOS. I mean seriously I just finished the 2nd Level and it was huge. Playing this game with my headphones on last night was a lot of fun and it feels like I barely scratched the surface. Nobody talking about the online co-op though? I checked it out and it was working pretty good using Game Center Auto matching. looks like the game changes a bit in co-op mode and 2 people are needed to solve the puzzles. only problem is people too often leave the game, but I kinda expected that. if anybody wants to play co-op add me to game center and I'm usually good to play an hour or two after 8pm
As I said before, the game is not perfect. But the notion that it lacks effort (and that you know this "for a fact") is inane. CoD:Zombies is a mini-game in a much larger console release. LC is a complete game that manages to keep a decent framerate while you navigate the largest and most complex environments ever seen on this platform. Compare to say, Dead Rising mobile. This is a handheld version of a current-gen console game. The idea that it could have been ported exactly (at app store prices) is at best ill-informed, at worst delusional.
Maybe pirated copies are crashing the same way they have been for pirated versions of Aralon? I see a few people on the app store complaining about it crashing constantly at the startup screen, but Ive only had one crash, rebooted my iPhone and it's been fine ever since. My one complaint is that iOS got 10 levels and the full game has 14 plus DLC maps/characters, so I'm hoping they release an update to include this content. Also if you're complaining about this not being a direct port ie: visuals/environmental aspects, take in consideration the full game is 7gigs+, so I'm truly impressed with the job they did in compressing a pretty faithful port at only 300mbs and to look this good with all the functions of the console game intact. I would consider that the complete opposite of a lack of effort. I also find it insane that besides a quick cut between certain rooms or for plot development, there are really no load times once you start a level.
