The good news is Langrisser's gameplay and mechanics are a lot better than FEH. The battles are fun, deep customisation, with actual story to boot. Overall a well developed game. The problem is the developer/publisher. They messed up the launch (pre-register was suppose to give free SSR, now only give a few currency tickets (which is not even given out yet) and everyone get the same SSR after the 7 login days from launch). Accounts have to be linked to Facebook only. Devs made it really hard to reroll, redownload the game does not erase your reroll account. Global chat cannot be turned off and is always on the screen, even in combat. Rates are 2% for SSR, while there are also equipment gacha that uses the same premium currency. The community manager on discord doesnt seem to be friendly at all and his/her English isnt very good. I recommend to wait a few weeks before diving in as it is a bit of a mess at the moment, but I want to give the devs a chance to fix everything. If you really want to give the game a go, just login for 7 days and get the free SSR, but don't invest too much time or money just yet. You can see they already got subscription model that gives advantages in-game than those without. Compared to FEH, which had a great dev from the very start, listening to player feedback. That is what kept FEH alive for 2 years. I cant see how Langrisser will survive half of that time if they keep it up like this. But it is FTP afterall and there are a ton of ways to spend money and a heap of convoluted game mechanics to understand. The usual stuff like an energy system is there. For me it is a nice piece of eye candy and the combat is above par from the usual mobile online rpg’s. It’s a typical gatcha type of game and will probably do well on mobile.
