I'll add the coordinates I've come across too: Hint: ????? 41.019424 28.973081 These coordinates pull up a bridge in Turkey. Hint: ?? -41.290814 174.783682 These coordinates pull up a parking lot in Wellington, NZ with the address 33 Herd St. I feel like there has to be some significance to the "hint" having a different number of question marks in each set of coordinates. This whole thing is really weird and cool!
I really hope they consider some kind of low fps mode or something similar to stop the battery / device from burning up. It's a fun game to play but it makes me wary of how much battery I'm using.
Spoiler Added some that I found; the LA one is 30 minutes from me. I'm gonna see if I can head out tomorrow and see what's up. I made an account here cause me and my homie were playing this and THIS IS REALLY INTERESTING. What I'm thinking is If nobody else finds any, there might be 10 coordinates, so we can finally unlock the restricted thing
Been playing this like crazy and am really curious about the coordinates. I've found two more I don't see listed here: "Palm" 37.766305, -122.449069 San Francisco, CA "Look Up" 51.423972, -0.288333 Kingston upon Thames, UK I also thought it might be easier to track via a public Google Map? You should be able to add coordinates you've found by typing them into the search and then selecting "Add to map." I've added all the ones listed in this topic already along with the hints everyone provided: https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=zBJNr_OWl4FA.kQfO8eWD6Fp0 Edit: birdfeet beat me to the "Look Up" one.
I unlocked the gold lightbulb today. No idea whether this is random or not. Loving this game so much I've installed it on my work iPad and my kids iPad minis. Now we're all playing it!
I wish there was a location near me. I'd hop in my car and go check it out. Is anyone near one of these places?
I've got the golden ufo too. I didn't know they were special characters until I saw someone say something about it.
I'm near the London one, it's at the edge of Richmond Royal Park, not much to see when you look up apart from trees, you are under the flight path to Heathrow airport there.
Number 46 in the leaderboards right now, but I knoooow I could have made Top 10 if I didn't freak out at the end there. Grr. Secret to getting that high is usually playing the Pied Piper and getting all the enemies to follow you into a cactus tree or, failing that, the wet stuff. Cleaning the level up of bad dewds makes it much easier to negotiate. Hate to say it, but I've been playing much better since I reversed the control scheme. Makes me feel like a real hack, though.
I wasn't doing too badly before I changed them, but the main advantage of switching 'em up is that you can literally draw your way around cacti, spikes etc. without worrying about ever hitting them. When they were in reverse I had to just cross my fingers and hope every time I swerved around an enemy. By the way, awesome review from Gamezebo here: http://www.gamezebo.com/2015/09/29/land-sliders-review-beautiful/
I found 2 more sets of coordinates and have reason to believe that closes out the list at a total of 15 (presumably geocaching) locations. Unfortunately, I'm nowhere near Dubai or Saskatoon.
I wonder if the coordinates create a connect the dots map. Maybe they will match the symbols? I wonder if this will unlock something globally.
I'm in Wellington, New Zealand. I'll drop by the coordinates after lunch, take a photo and add it to the GMaps layer.
