Santaaaaaaa Made an account to say santa can be unlocked now!! Will upload pictures when im not on mobile!
Has anyone else had an issue where the game doesn't load? I deleted this a while ago and have reinstalled it but it just sits at the loading screen. I'm in an iPhone 5S if anyone else has had this issue. Edit: Never mind. I deleted and reinstalled it 6 times and it finally worked!
Yes. All of the characters that you unlock will get saved to icloud and will unlock on your other devices. The only exception to this is Dracula, which you unlock by collecting jack-o-lanterns that are found while playing as one of the Halloween characters. Unlocking Dracula on one device will not unlock them on the others, so you would have to collect all of the jack-o-lanterns on each device. He's the only one, though. All other characters are shared between your devices. The coins you earn are not synced between devices, which I'm happy about. My son plays the game on my ipad and spends coins as fast as he can get them. I like to save coins up and open a lot of character boxes at once. Having the coins separate works out for me. I haven't checked if the levels earned on each character are synced via icloud. I imagine so, but I would need to verify.
A little tip on getting Santa from many pages ago, if you hard reset the game so you go back to the title screen there's a really good chance of the Christmas tree appearing on Level 2. *** MAJOR POTENTIAL RED HERRING ALERT, THEORY INCOMING... *** I don't know how many people are still trying to solve the latest clue in the ARG (www.prettygreat.com/ajeciwnkki.png) but I've been trying everything I can! A quick recap: We have a clue from Muscat suggesting the image on the link is not the same as the original pictures found on the USB sticks located at various places over the world, where the GPS co-ordinates were found on stone tablets in the game itself. There's something hidden in the picture, the practice of hiding data in pictures is called Steganography and the only clear difference in the pictures is in the brightness. There's an interesting paper here about how you can hide data using brightness adjustments here: http://arxiv.org/ftp/arxiv/papers/1212/1212.5801.pdf. I may be wrong, but the difference in brightness suggests this is a sensible way that something has been hidden using this technique. There are lots more methods of hiding a clue within a picture of course! I've ran the ajeciwnkki picture through as many online (and offline) tools as I can but it seems to be quite specific in terms of finding the software or technique used to hide data. Some tools require a password, I've tried the filename, prettygreat, enigmarooms and various other clues along the way. But I've noticed no stage of this 'quest' has involved looking back to previous clues so I think we should be able to do something with the latest picture on it's own. I'm trying to find an active Steganography forum to engage some experts in this, but we're stuck again. Muscat, probably don't need any more clues unless I'm so far off the mark i'm going to send everyone looking for something that's not there. I'm not sure what else we can do with a picture with no physical graphical differences. And a final theory based on an article https://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GC4AZHP&title=solving-puzzles-v-images-steganography&guid=abfad940-4b0d-4468-8270-b0659b92c0a4: They say 'If the number of pictures on the page is equal to the number of digits in a set of coordinates, then the images are probably list items' which could be another set of co-ordinates. If one number is hidden in each clue, there are 16 in total that this community found which *could* lead to another set of co-ordinates. The new clue *could* contain the entire set of co-ordinates. Anyway, hope someone can find a way forward. Loving the crypto-treasure-hunt! And I've noticed some suggestions on the link at geocaching I haven't actually tried yet... *** END OF CRAZY THEORY ***
