Okay...I'm clearly having a bad morning. Apologies for the rudeness (above). I've removed the pics for now to give people a chance to see the characters for themselves in-game.
Enjoying the new update! The perks are fun! I noticed in the "Credits" menu option, there is an alphanumeric string: "1.3 (52) - V5T7Q7U2". The 1.3 almost certainly refers to the version number, but the rest? A new clue?
I'm not getting the event idea. Is it just to find characters or something else will pop up after you collect all? Also what does the cross on characters means? Are they not available yet?
The Christmas Event is connected to the 14 new Characters! Though you can buy all the 14 new characters also! I have unlocked NutCracker So far! I used Szevvy | Unlocked 9:35 am CET | 9th of December Best, Hide
Okay, so I found the first "Christmas Quest" thing. The character I got was Spoiler the elf. .Here's a pic for what you need to be looking for.
Awesome update! Love all of the new characters and the Christmas quest is fun. Really enjoying the different perks that characters have. More incentive to level them all up! I'm curious about one aspect of the Christmas quest. It says some characters can only be found on particular days or times. Does this mean these characters can only be found for a limited time? I only ask because the vampire from the Halloween event did not unlock on my second device (all of the other characters I acquire on my phone get unlocked on my iPad, via iCloud). Should I be playing the Christmas event on both devices? Or will they get shared to my second device via iCloud? Thanks for such an awesome update! I love holiday content in games. Makes the game feel more... I don't know... Alive? Dynamic?Immersive? Something. It's one of the reasons I fell in love with MMOs, and thusly one of the reasons I love mobile gaming. Anyways, enough blabber from me. Keep knocking them out of the park, guys! If you continue as you have, you're going to outgrow your name. So is the last rare character available to randomly unlock yet? And anyone know the time or dates for it?
Great update. I had been hoarding coins so I was able to unlock four of the new characters right away. I was surprised Land Sliders didn't make it on Apple's Top 25 games of the year. It's on my list for sure.
Sorry, I didn't actually mean that in a serious way, more of a "holy crap these guys have ALREADY unlocked all these characters" kind of way. I would have just scrolled through and checked out all the silhouettes of the new characters anyway, so it's not even like it's a huge spoiler or anything. My comment was definitely missing a "lol" or a winky face or something. My bad.
Update is awesome. I love the new characters and the abilities the characters have! Can't wait to see more clues! I'm dying to have the real adventure badge!
Uh, you can get that achievement right now. You just need to type in one of the two ten character codes we found (look in earlier pages of this thread).
