Love the new characters, i was beginning to get bored since i have all the old ones. Really great game, so addictive haha
For those that don't know, Wren and Reynold are from double fines game costume quest. This halloween update is great and it is really cool to see more crossover characters. I've already taken advantage of the crash bug fix when a cactus turle decided to hop a ride into space. A big thanks to prettygreat.
I don't think they will take the halloween themes away because it only shows up when using halloween characters. I believe they will add more themed characters for every holiday (obviously for christmas).
Theory/lead on the twitter images puzzle: The images are clearly screenshots taken from a camera, and I'm going to guess of a computer screen versus something like an iPad, just based on the moire pattern, the mouse pointer, etc. Let's assume that the answer to this puzzle is whatever is tying those images together. Let's further assume that the answer has something to do with whatever you might type into your computer to get these images, or where the images lead. Referencing the images in the order they were first posted: (1) Unity (2) Yamba (3) Cat Lady (4) Maps (5) Slide and trying to determine if it's a collection of search terms that's relevant... If you do a Google Images search on "water slide" then guess which is the first hit? That's right, image (5) from tripadvisor. I have a hard time believing that's a coincidence. Type in "asia map" and you get images much like those in (4), but the framing of image (4) suggests that it's not on the top-left of the results, plus we can't tell how big the display is, so it's hard to say whether that's good enough or we'd need a different search term to somehow match up with the exact result grid. Searching for "yamba australia map" and scrolling down gets you an image that's pretty close to (2), from expedia, but I think it's pretty clear that image (2) comes from Google Maps, as someone else mentioned earlier. We might just have to find the right term to come up with that image at the right level of zoom to show the redacted labels. I just learned that Luke from the Prettygreat team is from Yamba. I can not find any pictures of the crazy cat lady (3) online, and that Unity screenshot could be entirely independent of this game. Plenty of screenshots online of generic/template code, but I couldn't find this one.
I do have a little bit of lag, most noticeable around the altar when events are triggered there. I'm on a 5s.
I managed to get 3 bears to go over one death altar all at the same time and the game froze for a second or two
