I wonder - has anyone found caches at the co-ords marked with no clues, just question marks? The reason I ask is I know there were more co-ords than tiles in the 'restricted' puzzle so could there be more to it?
Each of the images found on the thumb drives overlap with the other images. So imagine that each image found is divided into numbered columns. One image would have columns 1, 2, and 3, another image would have columns 2, 3, and 4, another 3, 4, and 5, and so on. The images are combined not by lining them up in (because how would we know which order to put them in?), but by overlapping the matching columns. That's why there are more images than characters in the code. It's also why we didn't need to find every single one to get the full code.
Can anyone tell me how to unlock land of surprises achievement? Has to do with the snowman King...I've seen the huge snowman and stood near him for awhile, tapped, gone to wells and cabins w snow and other snowmen...nothing so far. Also the achievement to get to level 5 under a minute- I've done that and timed it but the achievement still won't unlock for me- any help would be appreciated here. thanks!
I agree it seems like an image search result. I can see what looks like "Vietnam" and "China." Some map images seem flat while others show landforms.
It seems to be small images of world maps and partial world maps in different styles, there's a satellite one in the bottom right
just got reply from Phil about the hunt and WP version I sent prettygreat 'hey' via their site, and now Phil Larsen has replied Here's the answer: "Hi Nir! Thanks for your support Unfortunately no solid roadmap for bringing the game to Windows Phone, but will definitely be letting everyone know on our Facebook page when we make it happen. https://www.facebook.com/landslidersgame As for the hints on Twitter, we're relying on the community to get that one going - and I don't even know the answers myself, so we'll have to see what happens. What we found is that players are WAY better at figuring out puzzles than we originally anticipated... Cheers, Phil"
Something in that region, yes. I think it's a hint at possibly changing the language. Pairing that with the cat enthusiast clue, I've tried playing with different languages with the cat enthusiast selected, but haven;t triggered any events. I can't work out how the Yamba map clue fits in, either.
It's not just Asia in the picture, there's quite clearly at least one whole world map and possibly one for each continent
Yes, certainly a lot of Europe can be seen, a bit of South America, parts of Africa, but not really North America. Asia seems to be the constant. I can't make out which one is the whole world map, can you point it out please? Regardless, I've tried playing in all of the languages to see if it triggers anything, but nothing yet.
