I'm very happy to see this discussion on TA, but it seems to be getting a little silly that every post in this thread is fully spoilered-out. Would it be possible to keep the main game thread going for folks who are interested in sharing gameplay, and separate out the posts related to the hunt in another thread that's blatantly labeled as full of hunt spoilers? Or should we just try and hurry the hunt along so this thread can get back to its original and usual purpose on TA, which is to talk about the game? The reason I'm posting now is because I figured out the next step, which is the solution to that thing that Unseen Studios decrypted and pointed to. You know, the result of all those awesome hidden images? Anyway, I'm there all alone waiting for the rest of the hunters to catch up. Should I just keep waiting so other folks can have the agony/fun of getting through the next step, or try and give hints here to move that along, or just post the solution with spoiler bars? I could start a wiki or something but like I said, I'm happy to see this being discussed on TA and wouldn't want to divide attention. It would be pretty great if the hunt were solved by this forum.
Spoiler It would appear that there was redundancy build into the images so that not all of them would have to be found/shared to deliver a solution.
Found some coordinates that say that there is something under a bench at 25.074733 and 55.133801 which apparently is in Marina Promenade in Dubai I can't go there so post if u can and if anybody finds something there
I agree the spoiler tags might be in excess, but like you I think it would be great to solve the hunt on this forum. What you do with the information is ultimately it is up to you. If I were you though, in the spirit of the hunt I would post what you've found and possibly how you found it. My two cents.
I don't mind the spoiler tags as they're contributing to the discussion about the game and it's actually really fun to read how people do these things. And it's obvious the spoiler tags are about the secret codes. If people talk about something not about code, they'll just post like normal. Everyone is free to discuss the game anyhow.
Spoiler I'm not sure how far gsergio got but this is what I've figured out so far. If you get ten '?'s to show up on the board then a letter in the background will appear. If you remove one it disappears and if you get ten again the letter reappears. If you refresh the page and repeat the process you may get a different letter/symbol. So far I've gotten: IWO-TTt McFhIWOOttrGtlcGG IFnTTGFo I did have ten '?'s and got nothing once which I considered a space. Also the capital T's seem fainter than the others so there might be mistakes. I'll keep at it and see what other letters appear and if I can find a pattern in them.
Nice find! Spoiler I got "r" when I tried just now. I wondered if more letters showed up with more question marks, so I've been working at filling the board with them. Nothing more with 20 question marks on the board. Will keep working at it.
OK, so the solution of the puzzle I alluded to earlier is: Spoiler A message reading: @TGulrintych-FollowMe When I pulled up the twitter handle @TGulrintych, there was only one post that read: 0/100 f$@)3(/? Based on playing the game with different characters, I assumed this means once the handle "collects" 100 followers, then the account will "level up" and give the next clue. I didn't bother trying to decipher the text part of the tweet following the "0/100" counter, since it didn't quite match up to the text substitution from the web page title or footer "cr&atDd w7Ih Unity" etc. This assumption was confirmed a few hours later when the account posted a second tweet that reads simply "1/100". 99 more to go. Get on it, people! As to how I got there, and in reference/answer to Wocket's post: Spoiler Right, it's completely random. I think it's pretty clear that this whole hunt is intended to be a group effort (nobody's flying around the world to collect USB drives), and in this case it takes quite a while to get enough ?'s on the board to get one letter, plus you're going to get a lot of repeats before arriving upon the relatively long answer message, so it's suited to distribution of work. I was able to get some insight into the message length and clues to its composition to point the way to confirming the solution and lessening the manual labor, but I think that was only possible because of a mistake/oversight in how this particular element of the puzzle was created. Spoiler The faintness of the letters is part of the puzzle. The key is to put the characters that appear in order of alpha level. The "brightest" character is the @ from the twitter handle, and the rest go down from there. There are no spaces; it could very well be that the "space" you saw was just a very faint (low alpha) letter.
Spoiler As pointed out on Twitter https://twitter.com/MichaelTackes/status/650955778078081024 "That user name is a mashup of Turny & Glitch, btw."
Spoiler can't find him on Twitter, can someone post a link please? NEVER MIND, found it (somehow I can't find him in the twitter app but only with my pc) followed

Followed. Spoiler So, are we thinking screen grabs for the images in order to order the results by alpha, if that's the pattern? I got a C myself.
