That was awesome! Thanks for sharing and providing all the details and photos, Zendorphin. Very cool to share in the experience since the car majority of us won't get to do this.

I'm so addicted to this game. Congratulations to Prettygreat. I was wondering if anybody has managed to get the 1000 coin achievement? Mine seems to be stuck at 75% even after going through some of the hidden coin worlds a couple times. Also I'm not sure why it took me so long to notice the poem in the achievement list, but for the others who missed it as well: Cheers.
Coordinates in Tokyo Just got these coordinates in game Under rock 35.693681, 139.704200 Which is Shinjuku, Tokyo Here is the nearest google maps https://www.google.com/maps/@35.693718,139.7040261,3a,75y,26.04h,76.76t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1shCrMESwPrq2z7epOLzsJ6A!2e0!3e2!7i13312!8i6656?hl=en It appears to be a restaurant - I don't see any rocks. Although the coordinates are not exact - here is a map with the exact coordinates https://www.google.com/maps/place/35%C2%B041'37.2%22N+139%C2%B042'14.5%22E/@35.693681,139.70402,20z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0x0
Heh. Yeah can't say I'm crazy about it (kind of like my display is on the fritz!) but that happens to be the one I am currently leveling up, and sticking with. And it's obviously appropriate for the theme.
I think you have to have 1,000 coins in your current "bank," not in total over the entire gameplay time. The achievement didn't unlock for me until I stopped buying characters and had 1,000 coins stockpiled. If you've done that and it's still not unlocking, I'm not sure what the problem is.
Go to settings, then credits. Baz is Ben Vale. Click on his twitter. The twitter names move around every time, so that might be why you didn't get him. It took me a while too. I've got all the characters, so I'm trying to get the golden characters now.
I didn't even think of trying that. Guess I'm going to have to be patient for a while. Also, just got the Boulder. May be my favorite character yet!
I had a fun adventure in Boulder yesterday. It took me awhile to find the cache because I got confused on whether it was under a rock or in this massive sprawling juniper. It turns out, it was hiding in the juniper, among a ton of trash. At first I thought it was in a plastic box, but that was trash. Then, after digging up a massive rock and finding a piece of orange plastic for all my effort, I regrouped and focused on the Juniper and finally found a little plastic ziplock bag with the flash drive. Eureka! I took a bunch of photos from my iPad, but they were almost all too large to upload and the one photo I managed to upload is upside down. Doh!
Interesting mechanic. It definitely takes some getting used to with having to move the floor around. Great game. Lovely artwork.
Friends have thoroughly checked both the San Francisco ("Palm") and Los Angeles ("Tin inside") locations, but nothing's turned up. Both are on pedestrian byways, so it's totally possible that someone randomly collected them. It doesn't seem that we have any recourse without actually physically retrieving the USB sticks, if we do actually need all of them to move forward. Maybe the powers that be can nudge the folks who planted them, and make sure they're still there, or replace them if necessary?
It's great to read all these stories. This game certainly has added a really fun aspect to get the gamers involved. It must have been even more amazing to meet the devs!
Do you think it has anything to do with the street view default when you search for the coordinates in google maps? I notice the Brisbane bench is visible in the street view. For San Francisco, street view points to a specific building, though the clue "Palm" is unusual since there is no visible palm tree. Maybe some other kind of palm? The Los Angeles street view points to the Beachwood Cafe. Did anyone look in there?
Some coordinates relate to slightly different locations depending on which site you're using. The SF one is a building on Carl St. in Google Street View, but in this site it points to the park behind Carl St. (which does have some palm trees). http://www.latlong.net/c/?lat=37.766305&long=-122.449069
Addicted! (Top scorer!) I am SOOOOO addicted to this game! (Think being no.1 overall in the game centre confirms that!!). Can't wait for this puzzle to be solved! You guys are doing great work retrieving the usb's! The nearest one to me is in outside London so may have to take a little day trip if no one else gets there first!! Currently running 55 characters all at max rating, gold ones seems to appear randomly and add to the tally. Have noticed a few similar glitches to those mentioned here, one level up was out of reach (that was annoying!!) but general gameplay is fantastic. Anyone want to add me on Gamecentre it's amifish
