I just bought this video and song for £1.50 from iTunes, but if I purchased separatly it would be nearly £3! Who would do this?! Such a good song, and a brilliant video too - but the lyrics don't match the video's story! haha
i would like to correct myself guys- lady gaga can sing extremely well live (as has previously been shown) but almost all of her songs for albums and the radio are completely autotuned. her reason: the rest of the article here
So she's basically saying that people like shit, and shit is what she gives them, despite being able to do better. The sad truth is... I agree.
Eh...not really...but, yeah...pretty much. I think it's highly intelligent of her to understand the psychology of what people are used to via radio. That said...I still think an underproduced sound should be her next move. Unplugged. She, more than just about anyone right now in the music biz, can get MTV to bring that back. And maybe they'll get around to actually showing f'n music videos again like they used to. Seriously. It's no longer Music TeleVision but rather "crappy reality show" television

Yeah I will admit the unplugged videos are pretty good. Not my type of thing but I can see the talent there. At first I wondered why she changed her style so much for the album stuff but I suppose it's understandable... sitting at a piano isn't sexy enough.
i actually quite like the songs she sings. it's fresh modern stuff. take a way autotune and you've got fresh modern stuff that sounds human!
I have a feeling that people will be laughing their heads off at videos like this in 50 years time. The fashion is completely ridiculous, but I love that.
Ive never really understoud the appeal of this artist. Its pretty much the same feeling I get from listening to Daft Punk. In my mind I have a hard time understanding the hype for this artist. Its really not anything special. It sounds like most rnb/electronic music nowdays and with no originality at all. With that said Im personally into more ambient/triphop stuff. And to comment on her new video... That was... hrrm... uhhmm.. well.. pretty irritating all through. Just the thought that half of her fans will be fapping there guts out to this video makes me depressed heh.
The othe thing I like about her is that she writes most, if not all her own stuff... And even songs for thee artists, so she's not a talentless, manufactured nobody like Cheryl Cole
