I tried the lite and I found the controls too sensitive. I'm not going to search the thread so I'm just going to ask, since I didn't see any way to adjust the sensitivity in the lite version I'm guessing it isn't in the full version, is this correct? If so I think I'll pass.
Strangely enough, if you read the thread you'll notice that the one guy who kept moaning about the sensitivity suddenly got over it and basically mastered the game. I don't think he's mentioned it since.
Thanks. I'll probably get it then. Sorry too many pages to read through so I thought I would just ask. I guess it just takes time to adjust to the game.
The game is modeled after real life physics (for the most part), so the sensitivity is spot on. It may feel too sensitive at first, but give it some time and I'm sure you can master it. If you have access to a steel ball, I would recommend you giving it a go in real life to see how just sensitive it is Cheers!
We have fixed the bug in the latest update (currently pulled). We just uploaded a new update so hopefully it'll be up in a few days. You will* still keep all your awards, your progress, downloaded levels, everything. We are so sorry for this! Lesson learned. (In case you are curious: The reason we didn't catch the bug was that we had our devices connected to our computers so we could check error messages in the log. Apparently the devices behave differently when connected to XCode, i.e. L2 wasn't shut down by the system even if it took more than 20 s to start, which is what normally happens) * = I sure hope so!!
I would love to give the level-packs longer titles, but I understand that you limited it to ~24 letters. So what about "sub-titles", i mean taglines like in movie-titles? For example my level-pack "small balls - long ways3" would get the tagline: "There & Back again" You won't see the taglines in the charts, but when you view the pack for further information, there would be space enough for it! For my next levelpack (sblw4 currently under construction!) I would have a perfect tagline in my mind, too.
Nobody mentions Yesterday's update? It's more complicated to restart a level now (three clicks instead of the used two) but I like it. The new icon is nice. What's meant with "improved highlighted" section? I did not get that.
Some hate it, some love it. It's hard to please everyone I guess. We observed that a lot of players accidentally paused the game when they accidentally touched the screen. Especially younger and older people did this a lot, so much that they found it frustrating and didn't want to play more than 30 seconds. So we added a fix to that problem so the game isn't paused directly when the screen is touched. When you select a level pack in the level select menu, the highlight on the list item is a liiiiiittle bit nicer, it has some fading and a new image.
update out, thanks it's kinda of a little one but is good to see that the fixes are for little aspect of the game (icon, physics etc) ,now the game is even more polished. me too don't like the new tap to restart a level, but i think that Anders explanation is approvable. And in the end,i have all my awards now,you fixed that annoying bug, thank you a lot when i started the game however it says upgrading...then after some seconds it disappear...what it was upgrading?..
