What about putting an extra icon in the Download menu for Staff Picks, and in there you have 2 sub-categories like Absolute Best (or however you wanna call it) and By Month (where there are those scroll-along menus for the particular months). I should also put them in the Official category in the Single Player menu, because you officialy chose them, right? And the Official section also shows the level creator, so you can easily see it's not made by Illusion Labs.
Ok, thanks for letting me know. We have done some fixes that might help, so lets wait for the update to come out. If it still crashes, I will conduct a thorough survey.
Don't think that is a very good idea as I don't think anyone would expect to come to a scrollable list if one pressed a button near the top. It wouldn't make sense to mix behavior like that.
The UI took two months+ to design with the current features included with no plans on adding any more information. There is a lot of information in all screens and they are pretty close to perfect right now from a usability perspective. And just cramming stuff in some awkward place is not something we'll do -- it has to make sense. --- This is what I've come up with so far: In Single player, under Official Ongoing (might include official and staff picks) New (Official only) Staff picks (Staff picks only) Finished (Both official and staff picks) We'll see what the other illusionists think about it too.
wondering, is there any particular order the Finished level packs that you've downloaded are arranged in? seems totally random to me, makes it hard to find a level pack I'd like to find again. yeah I could go to Faves, but that list's growing too..
I like this idea. I think it might be an idea to make the Staff Picks a different colour too. You could leave the icon on the left to show the difficulty but change the rest. Or perhaps just put an icon on the bar somewhere to suggest they're staff picks, I think you could get away with having a star symbol on the top right corner of the difficulty icon.
"the game should be perfect" uh...i think that i love you! anyway..just noted that lab 2 wins the prize at bestappever as best arcade game! congrats guys you rock!
STATUS REPORT! Those with 3Gs and 3rd gen iPod, does the update fix the issues with the accelerometer lag (due to a bug in the OS)? Those who didn't get "world domination", did you get it now? If you didn't, did the game shutdown the first time you started it after the update? Those of you who got crashes when starting the game from the level select screen, do you still get them?
We'll wait and see if all bugs have been fixed now, if not they will be fixed first. Right now we are working on iPad versions of L2 and TG, so that take up all our time right now, but once the iPad is launched we can go back to think about our plans for existing games.
Hi! We did some testing and the lag and the packet loss would not do for such a high precision game (60 fps and pixel precision required), so no, it's not likely we'll add online multiplayer, sorry. Cheers!
