Lite version is out, give it a go if you haven't bought the full version yet, and tell your friends: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/labyrinth-2-lite/id350765814?mt=8 It also serves as a testing ground for the first update as the Lite version contains a lot of the improvements we have done the past weeks. If there is a bug in the Lite version it's not the end of the world, it would be a lot worse if it affected you, i.e our precious paying customers. It was submitted last Friday, so the approval process is a lot faster now, which means you should have the update for the full version pretty soon too.
Does it have a limited multiplayer option? I don't know anyone else who has bought it, and I need those achievements. =/
Change that to when you try to play multiplayer with Lite+Full that the other is visible, but then it sais it's not possible, because otherwise people (like me) might think there are connectivity problems. Or just allow people to do it, but only with the packs which are on the lite version.
The connection error message should say that only Lite+Lite works. The different versions aren't compatible (at least right now).
As anders said. You might have played the 5 Labyrinth 2 Test Levels which are also in Labyrinth 1 Lite...
No, I actually did mean version 2… I'm pretty darn 99.9% sure I've already played a lite version of Labyrinth 2 before. Or wait, hang on… wasn't there a demo of Labyrinth 2 included in a recent Labyrinth 1 update? UPDATE: Aah, as I thought then... Is this a different version to that? If so, how so? Different levels...?
Yes this is a proper Lite version, with all the bells and whistles. New levels as well. The levels in L1 was just a quicj hack to have something for people to try.
I'm glad there's finally a demo/lite version. I downloaded it and will try it out later. I thought Labyrinth 1 was cool, but nothing great, so while L2 sounds a lot better, I was hesitant to buy it. Lite version will hopefully help me decide.
The timeout is pretty long, so it should pop up after a while (BT is very slow to connect/pair the first time so the timeout has to be sort of long).
There is only 1 review for the lite and it says "You can play the user-created ones" for levels...but I'm in the app now and I can't download any user created ones. Is teh reviewer wrong then?
Just checked the US store. Yup, he's wrong, in the Lite version you can only view the levels, in the full version you can of course download, play and rate levels.
Oh, I saw this message, but what I meant; it would be cool to actually see the names of the devices (name's iPod/iPhone) with the wrong version (full/lite), but then sais lite versions cant play with full versions. Does that make sense? Will they be compatible when the update is out btw?
Ah, ok. Here's a bug in the lite version: In the first picture, I have the same time as the creator's time, but it didn't say I beat it. In the second, I got the same time too, and there it said I beat the creator's time.
