If your on the fence about buying it, I say buy it! I wasn't sure if it would be worth it, I thought the other Labyrinth games were good, but more of a show off for the Accelerometer, but I had only played the lite versions. I took the plunge and bought this, and it is great. The menus are well laid out, the achievements have trackers, there are lots of levels, so many different obstacles in levels etc. It is definitely worth the price.
wow this is great ahah i just launched trivial pursuit by EA (free today )and when loading the home screen of Labyrinth 2 appeared!!!! then it auto-returned to Trivial Pursuit...i have to stop playing L2 for a while i suppose
From the italian AppStore. It's free with in-app purchase option, don't know if it's a temporaly promotion or whatever.. EDIT:yes now i see that instead in the usa store it's not free, sorry.
Just bought it.great game but some levels can be frustrating....specially since you can't move forward without completing it.There aren't enough check points and it's frustrating to see those balls fall into pit at the last instant and you having to replay the game from start. Would have been a lot more frustrating if the accelerometer controls weren'tt spot on.But to their credit they have managed to do that. Also the availability of multiple levels means you will prolly never stop playing this.
Labyrinth 2 is great! Feel free to try out my level pack "gPack" and rate! gPack 2 is currently "in progress". (Btw, if you see anything called "bPack", that is my brother's levels)
It's gonna be a long time before someone does a Labyrinth game better than Lab2, and when it happens it'll probably be Illusion Labs again.
they could implement a feature like that in Fayju ball where the ball isn't limited to the bottom of the board, but can also roll up the walls and "onto the screen" of the iPod
I was thinking something similar, where it loads several levels at once, and each level finishes with a hole in the wall, you roll through then the "camera" pans over to the next maze. It'd keep it nice and fluid.
Initially we had plans for zooming into the goal/hole when completing a level. L2 EDITOR UPDATE: You can now undo/redo with CTRL+Z and CTRL+Y. Happy editing!
Yeah, that would be really cool, but that animation can't be used with already made levels since they don't have holes in the walls. What they could do with the normal levels, is that when the ball falls in the hole, it falls on the next level. Then the camera moves along, maybe through the same hole, maybe just along the board. When the ending position isn't the starting position of the next board, that's no problem, because the two boards don't have to be exactly above each other, just a little bit is enough, they should be put so the starting position of level two is straight underneath the finish hole in level 1. Or when the editor is edited so you actually can make holes in the wall (should be easy to see where the ending point is though), we can combine the two animations that would be so freaking awesome!
Labyrinth 1 is probably coming free January 2 as one of the 12 gifts by Apple (Europe only), Anders probably knows about it, haha!
