yeah they do, euro boxing is very different than american boxing, the angles at which they approach jabs or kicks is a lot different than "our" boxing. tonight a fighter from france got put out cold, Frank Mir was ready for him and tagged him on the chin early and then choked him the hell out and he took a little over a minute to wake up lol

    @Anders:

I have some (cool) ideas for L2:

    *game*
    - being able to publish one level (or at least be able to rate one level) so you get a top 25 levels
    - Custom Packs, with i.e. the top 5 level(pack)s
    - all levels from Labyrinth 1, perhaps in-app purchase (a classic version and a modern (with all the new stuff) version for each level would be AWESOME)
    - leaderboards! (per level ofcorse)
    - being able to download the best time for a level, so you can see it as a ghost while playing
    - a replay function, so the camera is going with the ball, no top view (like the trailer)
    - a contest for the best idea(s) for a level(pack), which will be designed by a professional designer, or the Illusion Labs team (perhaps via in-app purchase ($.99) for about 20 level packs/100 levels)

    *level editor*
    - duplicate functions
    - first have a list of levels you've created yourself, and then make level packs from it (so you can select the levels which you want to put in a level pack
    - being able to pick a (selfcreated) published level and change it, so you can put that one in another pack (handy to make a best of pack)
    - being able to download a level pack (on your computer) (which is published by someone else) so you can see the level editor for that level (handy for learning the editor or you just want to know how someone did that :D)

I hope you'll consider these ideas!

Your level editor suggestions are likely to be abused by less than honest types. There is a problem among custom level creators in the gaming world, when it comes to being able to take other's works and seeing it in an editor -- there are people who take other people's work, make a few small alterations and publishing it as their own. And it makes for really unhappy feelings.

I'm not really sure I'm following you. Could you explain more in detail?

    - all levels from Labyrinth 1, perhaps in-app purchase (a classic version and a modern (with all the new stuff) version for each level would be AWESOME)

The levels don't work straight out of the box (L2 is a completely new game compared to L1). They can however be converted, but they will need to be manually tested before they can be published to make sure the levels are possible to complete (things have been re-sized in L2). Also, we would like everything to stay free. I don't think we'll do that, but perhaps we can select a few very good L1 levels and redo then in the L2 editor.

    - leaderboards! (per level ofcorse)

    - being able to download the best time for a level, so you can see it as a ghost while playing

    - a replay function, so the camera is going with the ball, no top view (like the trailer)

These have been suggested before, and they are good suggestions. They're on our list of things to discuss.

    - a contest for the best idea(s) for a level(pack), which will be designed by a professional designer, or the Illusion Labs team (perhaps via in-app purchase ($.99) for about 20 level packs/100 levels)

I think that if someone can come up with a good idea, chances are that they can create the level in the level editor themselves too. We are thinking of selecting level packs we here at IL like and include them in sort of a 'staff picks' section, much like in the App Store.

    - duplicate functions

We will probably add duplicate functions for levels. Say you create level 1, and the rest of the levels should be similar (like Enigma for instance), then you can duplicate the level 9 times and then do the changes to them individually.

    - first have a list of levels you've created yourself, and then make level packs from it (so you can select the levels which you want to put in a level pack

    - being able to pick a (selfcreated) published level and change it, so you can put that one in another pack (handy to make a best of pack)

    We'll discuss it.

    - being able to download a level pack (on your computer) (which is published by someone else) so you can see the level editor for that level (handy for learning the editor or you just want to know how someone did that :D)

We will not add that. I think it would be used in the wrong way.

Thanks for your suggestions, keep 'em coming!

Ok, it was a bit tricky. The trick is to get the door open, and the laser disabled at the same time.

You have two buttons, right, and by pressing them in the correct order (and breaking the laser), you can get both the door open and the laser disabled at the same time (just playing through it from A to B will make the laser close the door before you get to the exit).

    Solution (highlight):

    1. press button 1, will close the door
    2. press button 1 again, will open the door
    3. roll down and press button 3, will enable the laser and close the door
    4. press button 2 again (but don't rollpast it!), laser will be disabled and door opened
    5. hey Presto, we're done!

I didn't really get all the vinter/Christmas references in all the levels?

Enigma is one of my puzzle packs, hated by many ;)

We now check if the level is empty, and you are only allowed to publish two level packs a day (which might be changed when the game update comes out).

What I ment was that single levels should be rated too, so you (IL) can make a top-25 levels (not level packs. When i.e. someone made a awesome level in a very bad pack, it still should be known (that particular level, so not the whole level pack). Then, when there is a top-25 levels (not packs), people can i.e. download the top 10 levels (not packs) as a custom level pack.

Ah ok, now I understand. I don't think we'll add this fine grain control, don't really think people will be bothered to rate every single pack. Plus, all the lists everywhere would need to be changed and the server, this really affects everything and would require much much work and not really add that much to the game. Usually the levels are consistent in a pack, i.e. they are all bad or they are all good.

I think we can spend our time better and add something else.

I can't find my published pack now. It shows as published on my device but searching by ID fails (even if ID is Anders :) ). My ID is. gobeatty

Name of pack is. Gobeatty Pack 1

I found a minor 'bug' after publishing and will issue Pack 1.01 to fix (on last level ball doesn't fit between moving doors and some cannons when I intended player could go that way).

As a side note, this is not a classic pack of the type that I really enjoy. I set the balls to a slowe speed so the levels with balls can be played slowly in almost a 'stealth' manner. What can I say - I was inspired by the editor :). Just need to make it work in Safari on the iPhone :)

I suppose that gobeatty isn't your id..to see your ID just go to levelpack.com.You will see a window with two strings, the first is your ID and the second is your pin. ID example a4kj6qlb (it's mine :p)

Your ID is eight characters long (like A1B2C3D4). Click 'Create' in the main menu, then you can see your ID (and pin) at the top of the screen.

It is not possible to edit levels once they are published.

I dunno about anyone else, but I wouldn't really want one of my levels taken from the pack and shoved into a "Best of" collection with other people's work. I'd feel like a music artist whose record company keeps milking his songs with crappy re-releases. I've kind of designed my levels to be played together with the others in the pack, it's a nice running theme.

Ok. It's very confusing tho. Levels have a creator name and if I like a pack made by Anders, say, the ID search looks like I should be able to find all packs by this creator. The ID code then is only useful for finding my own published packs unless another author has shared their ID with me.

Suggest changing this or adding a search by author option :)

Then the creator may choose wether it can be included in a best of level pack or not.

You gotta hold your device completely up in portrait view and take a perfect angle to the door. You will have to squeeze into the area right where wall and door meet. Just make tiny adjustments every try and you'll get it eventually
