yeah, its just an awesome move to make sure the creator completes his pack before publishing, definitly makes sure the levl packs out there stay proper. and i am a MASSIVE fan of the inclusion checkpoints, nothing frustrates me more than tons of work undone by a twitch and having to try 20+ again to get to the same position. (all on lab 1 as i haven't bought lab 2 yet) what even more frustrating is the fact i literally CANT pull myself away from a level until its done, i simply wont allow myself.
Hmm.... so in multiplayer, you work as a team or are you competing against each other to see who makes it first?
I think that's just plain false! This game is $4.99, console games are $50 (approx) and Labyrinth pwns a whole lot of them. If this game was anywhere other than the App Store you'd be paying at least double. Just be grateful it came out on the cheapest gaming marketplace around.
exactly, any game that provides the possibilty of nearly unlimited expansion and variety is worthy of $5 and up. you wil prob never have to play the same level twice all year. there are games out there that are definitely not worthy of $5, but this is in no way shape or form one of them.
It's a race, the first one to the goal wins. It gets quite frantic, and when you see that your buddy is ahead if you, you start to take risks and try to keep up and that's when things normally start to go really bad
It seems many here are into making and playing very difficult levels. I have found myself deleting labryint 1 level packs that are too hard and playing packs with easy/medium difficulty levels. Are you seeing these types of levels being developed? I don't mind being challenged but I am hoping that there is a lot of choice throughout the difficulty range.
Playing with the editor I've found that it's quite hard to make difficult levels without resorting to being cheap and just spamming holes and cannons, so I opted for an easier difficulty and prettier looking levels. I'm sure there are other people out there who enjoy playing the levels simply because they look nice and are well-made, I won't be at all surprised if we see some incredibly detailed an intricate designs pop up in the coming weeks. I don't know if you've seen my level editing topic, but this is the kind of thing I'm going for: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=683677&postcount=44
You all actually enjoy this game while playing? It's gotten really annoying for me, I'm not enjoying it and will probably delete it soon
I'm loving it, but I haven't tried any hard levels yet. I've done all the official easy and medium packs and a few downloaded packs.
I think it's a tad too cheap But seriously, it's a great price and I encourage quality games like this to come out and find the price more than fair, and that will not keep happening at .99. So if you want games that are dirt cheap all the time, don't expect high quality games like this to keep coming. You don't like to work for almost nothing do you ?
I agree with you, I much prefer easy or medium levels (unless it is a puzzle level, which I love, then hard levels are ok for me). Shipped with the game are seven easy packs, seven medium packs, and seven hard packs, with about 10 levels in each (some have less). Online (right now), there are 17 easy packs, 29 medium packs, and 10 hard packs. I expect there will be 100x that pretty soon. The quality of most of the levels are very good already. The thing is, as I've mentioned before, is that the level creator must play trough his own levels. Which will hopefully make the levels not impossible to beat, but also fun. The level creator sets an initial difficulty rating, which is then adapted after it's been downloaded (and rated) by thousands of other Labyrinth 2 players, so in the end it should have a "correct" difficulty rating.
I would appreciate some constructive feedback! (or maybe it's simply not your kind of game, but I would still love to hear why)
Nope, not really, I think iTunes had a bad day or they were upgrading something and L2 got caught in-between.
hey dev: im about to get this game! but i just want to confirm that the game wont go on sale soon... thats my biggest appstore pet peeve... a game that goes on sale the day after i buy it
