Hmmm... Let's do a little survey: What do you do when Labyrinth 2 comes out? [X] Kick Labyrinth from my iDevice and install Labyrinth 2 [ ] Keep Labyrinth and buy Labyrinth 2 [ ] Don't buy Labyrinth 2 [ ] Hmm... what is Labyrinth? Oh there is a lite Version... HOLY **** I'm going to buy Labyrinth 2 AND Labyrinth just to support the developer!
Well there is always the possibility it'll get rejected, which is why I'm not generally keen on promising when stuff will be out.
I never played Labyrinth 1 much due having way too many games. I don't really know where to start and where to end, I usually end up playing the same game over and over again. I played it a lot more back in the firmware 1.1.x days. But, if it's not expensive, I will get Labyrinth 2.
Why Monday? - I have seen games release 7 days a week at any time. Could still be out tonight, tomorrow, Sunday, etc. Jet Car Stunts came out on a Saturday OR Sunday eve, I can't remember
Eggzbacon(?) said, "a pool full with water". This sounds awesome! I think it would make a nice slowing effect. But then again, what would happen when you tilt the device? It would probably slop around . Darn! And that idea sounded cool, too! Maybe mud, then? But what about bridges? This could greatly expand the length of each level, especially with all of the new features to clutter it up (not a complaint, seriously!). This way, you could make more interesting puzzles, like, say, a figure eight (I know, I know, not a puzzle, but you get the point). I think structures and some more obstacles are cool ideas for an update!
Yeah quicksand sounds good. Hey Anders, could you maybe give us some more info on the update? Much appreciated!
We are working on the first update already, and it will be submitted the same day the game comes out. It'll include some very small bug fixes and some of those nice-to-have-features that aren't really necessary but that we wanted to include in the game anyway, to make it even more polished. It really depends on when it gets approved. The longer it takes to get approved, the more time we have to implement stuff before before submitting. But in the meantime, by all means please come with suggestions of obstacles.
