Some screenshots to make it easier to explain. This is what the 'What's hot' list looks like. If you tap the blue button with an arrow pointing down, you download it directly. Downloads are done in the background so you can download several packs at the same time. When it is downloaded, it will be replaced with a green button so you can see which levels you already have downloaded. Tapping that will start the game so you do not need to go back to the normal single player screen. If you tap on the level pack name it self (or rather the big box), you get to the info screen (or "preview screen"), see pic 3. One of the top lists. Looks pretty much the same as the previous screen. If you are familiar with the App Store on the device, you will feel right at home. This is the info screen where you can find out more about the level pack. Here you can see previews of all the levels, which ones you have completed, the level designer's best time, your own time etc. Pressing the ID button brings up a new menu where you can find all the level packs by this designer, and also report the level pack if it is offensive in some way.
First update (1.0.1) will probably only include some final polish here and there, and perhaps small bug fixes. The second (1.1.0) will probably include facebook and twitter integration (it will not be the standard "hey I got an highscore!", it'll be more epic), new obstacles, a new theme, stuff like that.
UGH. I want this now. The wait is so annoying. I remember you said "Apple wanted something fun to play over the weekend" or something along the lines of that". Does that mean something?
