No, you need the game first. Your ID and pincode are generated from your device's unique ID within the game. Yes, all levels are instantly available for everyone else once you have published your pack. We expect massive amounts of levels, and we have some nice features to make it easy to find new good level packs. Think of it as the App Store itself, just that everything is free. There are different top lists, such as most download, highest rated, what's hot (i.e. trending level packs) and also lists of new fresh unrated level packs and random lists if you are feeling brave. If you find a level pack you like, you can simply find all packs by the same author. You will also have access to previews of the level packs, which could be handy if you want to flick through to see what the levels look like before downloading it. You can download level packs with just one click, which is neat if you want to download many at once, for instance before going on a journey. You can of course start the game directly from within the download menu, no need to jump back and forth between menus. Creating levels a whole other story, but I'll just touch on that briefly. They way it is designed, the level creator must play through her own levels before she can publish them. The reason for this is that a) this ensures that all levels are possible to complete, and b) that the creator sets a par time (we have awards, and one of them is to beat the par time a certain amount of times). After she completes her levels, she can rate how hard she think it is. The difficulty is however adjusted by all the ones who download and play it -- after you complete a level pack, you get to rate it easy/medium/hard, and also 1-5 stars. Sorry for the small essay, it's just that there are so many clever things here and there, and the time we have spent perfecting it is close to ridiculous. We hope it shows.
Glad to hear you like it! I rather not go into detail here, but no, we have no plans on doing it for Android, at least not now.
No need to submit levels to us anymore, you can share them with the world directly, see the post above.
What date was this submitted? I am so excited for it that i am pushing nova out of the. way to get it.
I hope it was submitted a while ago, as TouchArcade says in their article that they suspect the game will hit the app store any moment. I have been checking all day Is this a possibility, Anders?
Never played Labyrinth before but just downloaded the lite version that include the Lab 2 levels and I really dig this game. It's very unique and cool. Don't know why I waited so long. I will absolutely buy this whenever it hits the US app store.
Oh wow! And as a matter of fact, I really enjoy it when people give a nice thurough response to my questions. The game sounds amazing (get it? ) so far. Can't waittttt to get my hands on it. And by the way, I could tell just from your trailer video that it was highly polished-it's just that obvious!
So I'v been playing the full version and, although I never liked the full version, this is very impressive. Feels much more like a full game than a bunch of similar courses than could be completed by continuously tilting the device as fast as you can to try and make it around crevices between holes. The effort put into this is pretty noticeable. Full preview in the works for STP.
Out of curiosity, is the name on the Springboard "Labyrinth" or "Labyrinth 2"? I know it sounds like a dumb question.
