It's been an exciting year for Kid Rocket Studios and our good friend, Kung Fu Robot. While January marked the release of Volume 2, this coming December will mark the close of this first story arc for our big red friend and his trusty sidekick Marvin. It's been a busy year of battling the evil Kung Pow Chicken and his army of android ninjas as they plot to rob the world of its precious supply of peanut butter and jelly. The exciting conclusion, as they say, will be EPIC. Stay tuned, friends.

However, this won't be the last you hear of Kung Fu Robot. In fact, as we plan our next big adventure, we want to take a moment to celebrate the success of nearly 250,000 worldwide downloads. That's an awfully big number for us and we couldn't have done it without our loyal fans. THANK YOU!

It's also why we're announcing a very special opportunity to help launch Kung Fu Robot into his next big adventure.

We're on a mission to create a beautifully illustrated, impeccably printed and produced, 140-page, 8.5" by 11" hardcover-bound comic book anthology of Kung Fu Robot's first adventure, How To Make a Peanut Butter, Jelly & Kung Fu Sandwich, that interacts with a complementary companion app for iOS and Android devices that will include augmented reality features, games and more.

When Jason Bays came up with the idea for Kung Fu Robot 11 years ago, he also spent a great deal of time trying to get traditional publishers to produce it. Lots of publishers. While he got close with a few of them (like "omigosh, this is GOING to happen" close), it never materialized. We feel the time is now right to make this happen and we're going to do it the same way we've done it all along: with a little help from our friends.

The idea of this book was the dream that started it all. We still believe in the power of a physical book to launch a kid's imagination.

The funds raised will not only allow us to publish this anthology, it will also allow us to develop a new slew of assets that will enable us to continue Kung Fu Robot's adventures in new and exciting ways, including 2D animation tests, 3D models that can translate to toys and perhaps printable figures, and a host of other ideas that continue to percolate.

You can learn more about the "why" behind this Kickstarter campaign on Medium.com. And of course, we would be very grateful for your backing on Kickstarter.

Many thanks in advance for your kindness and consideration.
