From what I have seen thus far the game looks great....so there are iap for additional levels? If so, what will be the total cost to purchase all of the levels? When should we expect to see this thing appear on the app store? How long ago ws it submitted for approval?
It should be out soon I submitted last week, usually takes a week, it'll be free with on time IAP to unlock all levels, so basically it's a delayed paid app giving you a chance to test it out first
Hmm, as an indie (for now ) this is an interesting question. What do you guys think will be the fair price based on what you've seen so far?
You definitely want to make the price reasonable to increase the likelihood that people will actually purchase the full game. The more exposure (discussion) that your game gets the better it is for you as a developer moving forward. Sometimes this results in underselling your game for the sake of exposure. Also, you could initially unlock the levels for an introductory launch sale (99 cents) then increase the price for a period of time if the game seems to be selling well.
^^ as much as i hate the 99c pricing but i think that is the best pricing model right now. So yes i agree with above.
Guys, We need help and feedbacks in balancing the difficulty of the game. If there's anyone interested in helping us beta test the game please PM me. You need to be able to use test flight to get early build. Thanks
After some unfortunate turn of events and frustration, we finally have a release date! August 1st 2013 Mark your calendar, cause is when Kung Fu Quest: The Jade Tower comes to App Store and into your iOS devices. Here are some screenshots to remind you about the game Here's hoping we'll see you soon! Fight on!
I just noticed on your FB page that the game will support the moga controller. Will it also work with controls on the nvidia shield?
We tried to support anything that we could get our hands on. For this release we won't have any support for game controllers yet That's one of the reason why it takes so long to release the game since we promoted here last month, we thought we could squeeze in last minute support but we decided not to for now as we're afraid there's too much work to make things happen properly and no oversight on how the game will do. But later down the road, it will, and updates will always be free Thanks for the interests and stay tuned!
Ill be purchasing anyway, no controller for this game is not a deal breaker for me as the touch controls don't seem to intensive. It could absolutely benefit from real controls though and I hope the game sells well so it will be supported
