Not sure if you're being sarcastic lol. Based on your impressions the game is horrible with all those IM stuff. I downloaded the game but now I'm scared to open it.

It's a beautiful game gone terribly wrong. I wasn't being sarcastic. You play the tutorial and fall in love. It's visually amazing, great animation and sound. But, behind the curtains are horribly expensive iap's and timers.

25 minutes to regain a single energy. 5 energy for a 1 minute match. That's over an hour of waiting to play a minute.

You get terrible loot within dungeons, the prize boxes at the end of each level are rigged.

    I could go on.

    Here's the thing:

It's not really a game, the developers don't really want you to play.

Even dark avenger / eternity warriors did it better than this game. Both beautiful games that allowed you to actually play as much as you want. People would actually spend $ as they could play as much as they wanted to ( being able to actually USE what you bought since you could play limitless. Why would I want to buy a 20$ sword in this game if I could only use it 4-5 minutes a day?

I see your point and I just experienced the same feelings.

I believe that these type of games will be the new Puzzle and Dragon phenomena that we will see a lot of in the coming weeks. There is also Soul Guardians which is 2d but similar to this game.

It shouldn't suprise you as much as I b*tch and moan about never getting gamevil or glu games in the coming tonight thread generally they do make poor freemium models based on greed, especially gamevil.

But every now and then you get a gem so it's worth looking at least.

Truth: game will be complete crap if it's screenshots ...

Are so cluttered and jumbled you cannot tell what the game is about
Are obscured by anime heroes with impossibly giant weapons or impossibly giant boobs, or both
Are labeled with outlandish statements that have little or no context to the image shown
Show a combat system that is based on tens of thousands of hit points

    This one hit 'em all.

I'm sure my utterly biased perspective has prevented me from enjoying many fine contributions to the AppStore, but, oh well.

^ Uh.. actually I'm going to disagree with you on that. I've been on the appstore for a while and a lot of the "anime" styled games especially the KRPGs have these kinds of images or characters. The ridiculous statements are also common on appstore games, mainly on ones that aren't made in English speaking countries. None of those points indicates a terrible game.

If you read the thread, the only reason we don't like the game is the company and the pay model. It has nothing to do with the art, the combat system, or any clutter. The "clutter" is common the KRPGs.

Wrong. IAP mandatory for Skill Level upgrades.
    Deal Breaker there.

Even better than that... the game may be published on the Gamevil account, but the login system calls itself HIVE, and it's technically a joint venture between Gamevil AND Com2us.

Being the HUGE RPG FAN i am this game is not half bad. The graphics looks awesome, gameplay is fast and fun between the berserker and cat aerobic plus more to come. There is video cut scenes. This game is pretty good.... BUT. IAP. costumes avatars weapons that look awesome you got to buy with premium currency. It's like 20$ For currency and that's when it's half of! If this game was premium this would be perfect. Gamevil what happen to you and what did you do to com2us.

What a mess of a game. Everything is build around IAP from ground up, gambling included.
I can't even see the fancy graphics people are speaking off. Low res textures, half baked animations, effects visualized with bitmaps, boring environments which are copied and pasted over and over, ultra low polygon counts on enemies, etc..the only thing which is looking okay is the character itself but that's it.
Combat is boring and makes it even less enjoyable due to the camera zooming in as soon as a battle starts. Also there isn't any feel of an real impact when hitting an enemy imo.

The evils have finally joined forces. The Axis of Evil. Mobile RPGs are doomed!

Btw Com2us used to be one of the cool guys just like Gamevil. Then they decided to copy Gamevil. The end.

    Com2us as in.

We shall mind control you, make you pay a ton, and before you know it you'll be a zombie throwing down hundreds for minutes of gameplay.

" come 2 us with your money "

    Free to play they said...
    No money necessary they said...

    :p

Judging by what I read, this would've been a good game if it weren't for the IAP's & timers.

I still wish I could play it. -.-

But then, a DFO with online capabilities (also a hack n' slash, but in 2D) would be even better. If this existed... Oh, boy.

Closest thing I have found. Setting up an account is easy, just download the kakao talk app, and it will hold your hand.

Or try Excalibur , and third blade .
