Simogo Santa surfs the internetz, lands on touch arcade and drops a promo code! FMKFK49HJAJW And it seems that Simogo Santa has to remind you that, YES, if you take this code, please, please, please, post here that it's taken. 14 players to go before we hit 10k players on game center!
We made it! Over 10 000 players on Game Center! http://simogo.com/blog/2010/12/16/10-000-players-1-on-game-center/
Just keep fighting. Actually, I wrote down some tips for a interview, might as well post them here: - The ufo always gives away a sound, and blinks red before it starts to beam. Look out for this. Also, learn that there is quite the bit of time before the beam is fully out, when you can actually run through it very quickly. - Did you know you can actually ”cancel” the Ufo's beam? If you hit it with a ball while it's beaming, it will stop. It will also give you a point! Try to steer balls in the direction you want it to go. - Try to do full 360's after heading a ball, to make sure you swipe the whole planet from breakfast thingys. - Focus on combos! If you make sure the planet is not hit, every ball will give you 10 points after a while. Also, it's sometimes worth it to risk your life to fill the breakfast-o-meter – when it's filled both the beam and balls will be ”cancelled”. Use this to your advantage! - And most importantly – play the game the way it feels best for you. Some like to use their index finger. Personally i use my thumb. Some do circles, other do small swipes. I do a combination of both. Thanks! And so do we obviously! But it's tricky to get noticed. Sales were definately strongest our first days, but they are nice and steady right now too. It's going to be real interesting to see how the game does in the long term and especially how it does during christmas. There's a lot of big names out now.
Simogo Santa feels a bit sad today. That's just how life is sometimes, for Santas. Especially secret Simogo Santas. He keeps giving and giving, but he wonders, is there not more to life? Simogo Santa, cheer up! ... Ho.. ho... ho... Merry christmas, or whatever. Enjoy the code... MX6RKRTPKY34 Simogo Santa I think you forgot something. Yes... yes. If the code... is taken... the taker... must say... so... in this... thread Ok. We'll just leave it at that. Cheer up and read these jolly news, Simogo Santa: http://simogo.com/blog/2010/12/17/kosmo-spin-in-nojesguiden/ We also had a mini review in Sweden's biggest gaming magazine, Level. Kosmo Spin Scored 4/5!
This was discussed a few pages back. We designed the whole game around the spin controls, and I think that adding on screen buttons would add very little to the game, or actually make for a lesser experience. We've designed the game with one of the platforms strengths in mind, so adding buttons would feel like a step backwards. Then again, you never know what the future might hold. But for me personally it would be like adding classic controls to Wii Sports. Any German speaking people here? There was just a review and an interview posted on the nice site http://www.gamecity.ch/ http://www.gamecity.ch/artikel/review/kosmo-spin/0010463/ http://www.gamecity.ch/artikel/interview/interview-mit-simon-flesser-von-simogo/0010428/
So! Super secret Sunday Simogo Santa suddenly strikes! Promo Code: EK4WNJA3PJKE If you use the code, please say so! Also wanted to share the pretty deformed Gingerbread Nod Now the game has been out in over two weeks. It's been one hell of a ride! Our update is pretty much done, Monday will be dedicated to test run it good. Pretty sure it won't be able to make it before the itunes connect shutdown 23-28 December (but you never know), so expect it some time after that. It will include 12 new quests, 5 new achievements, facebook score and quest reporting and other small stuff and fixes. Arrow buttons on the menu, for those who prefer tap to swipe. Some bugs have been squashed, and grammar and bad spelling has been corrected (thanks to HerbertKornfeld in this thread!). Hm. There might be more, but I'm pretty tired so I might have missed something. It's going to be a very nice little package. Oh yeah, and the icon has been changed a little, just added a little bit of the planet
WOoooooo! It's the main character as a breakfast object.. Aww he's gonna spin around the world to eat himself! Looking forward to the update!
just wanted to say how awesome this, pick-up-and-play-and-forget-to-eat-my-own-breakfast-but-save-ingame-breakfast-object-thingys-with-aliens-shooting-balls-bounces-head game is. completed the first half of the quests! I must say that the quest objectives section is funny! especially the one which goes on and one about numbers! All in all, it's a game that kept me entertained! Will try to beat your high score ninjagorilla! Hah! Also, the controls are good! Got used to both of the control schemes in a jiffy! I can't quite put my finger on which is my preferred, so I just use whichever whenever I feel like!
Really nice! Thank you so much!
