The goal is to remove all of the blocks that have borders by matching three or more of the same blocks together. When blocks are matched, a new block is created with the same color and a higher value. Three 1s create a 2, three 2s create a 3, etc. However, you can only place blocks with a 1 value, so it can become challenging to create a match with higher value blocks. There are 50 levels to play through in both normal and time trial modes. In time trial mode, you play quickly through 10 levels at a time trying to get the best time which you can also submit to Game Center. ___________ The game will be released on January 28 and will cost $0.99. There are no ads and no in app purchases.
Here's a GIF showing a level 5 block being created. Since it takes a lot of taps there are only a few levels that require creating level 5 blocks.
I assume the remaining promo codes have been used so I added 5 more. For anyone who used one of the codes, what do you think about the game?
I redeemed the promo code on my computer and normally when I do that I can then download it on my iPad through the purchased tab in the app store, but that doesn't work here (probably because the game isn't out yet). Is there any other way to get it on my device that does not involve syncing with iTunes?
I looked in the Apple dev forums and found a discussion from October where devs were having a similar problem with promo codes for unreleased games. A bug report was submitted so I don't know if the issue you're having is the same one or not. Either way I've removed the promo codes from the first post and won't be posting more until the release thread. I assume that the promo codes I already gave out will start working when the game is released, but if not then those people can message me for a new code.
