I'm a little disappointed they haven't come up with an update yet, this seems like a nonstarter bug for rpg players, and I've always had the impression from Crescent Moon that they were on top of things.
Nearly a month and no update on the stat bug and a couple other serious ones I sent the dev in mid June. It’s a shame. I’m considering writing it off and getting a refund. Maybe I’ll give it another week, since I’m not ready to play it now anyway.
