Couple of questions. How to I unlock GC achievements for campaign 1 and campaign 2? I think I have finished the main quest... Also What is there to do at shipwreck cove? When I got there the first time there's a sign that reads "Done", once I leave I can't travel back to the area.
Shipwreck cove was the countdown timer to the update that is supposed to be coming, back when it first finished he said that it was still in review by apple, and its been a while, apple is being slow.
Update changed nothing as far as I can see... Just a steam advertisement, that sucks Or did I miss something??
Update is FINALY here! travel anywhaer with one click magic does a damage range now (boo) elemental damage, nature divine phsyical and magical no base luck from characters now (cept flowers id imagine)
Ok, I give up. How the hell do I get to the Arena Gladiators campaign? I've beaten the Journey Begins campaign (I have the achievement) but when I start a new game, it does not give me the option to choose a campaign like it shows in the screenshot here. http://www.gamezebo.com/games/knights-pen-paper/walkthrough-cheats-strategy-guide
That guide is way outdated, the campaigns system was removed a long while ago. its just the one now. The achievements are still there since some people earned them and GC cant just removed earned achievements.
Sounds like I shouldn't update if I still want to use magic and have any kind of chance at leveling up quickly. Would anyone recommend updating this if I'm only level 15 with my whole party and still working my way through the story?
I don't see any changes in shipwreck cove location after updating, still "coming on steam" on sign. Whats wrong?
the damage range affects everyone and for more than just magical damage, also my whirlwind is like 39-101 damage (levle 10) so no i do not reccomend the update if you are still leveling.
Hey everyone, long time, huh? I'm sorry for the delayed answer. We have been working a lot into new content, new features and etc as we have shown at GDC. The latest patch was there to introduce everyone to the new combat system that we now have resistances (super and low effects, dealing less or higher damage) and also what you apparently didn't like which is the randomness on hits, making the game a bit more strategic while on battles. The nature spells have a higher range, the damage goes higher 20% and lowers 20% as well, it is suppose to remind us those chain lightnings nature spells and etc. We're holding all the new content that we've been doing to the paradox release for Steam. And we thought that the game being released on Steam was some sort of nice news ("secret") to everyone but apparently people didn't care because everyone wanted even more features and way more content than we can even craft haha ): For now, this is the patch that is live. We are aware of a few other bugs that appeared on it like the dice rolling being so small and we'll fix this on next update (which I believe shouldn't take too much). For everyone that was expecting for new content and didn't like this new patch, I'm sorry, we are trying to reach out the best we can on our community and we keep listening to whole new ideas and etc. Spells were also updated by me and some items were updated too, you may think that nothing was really added but yeah, lots of minor stuff were added. I really wish whoever dislikes this update could play a bit more and see the positive points on this one. And for those asking if should or shouldn't update the game, I really encourage you to update.
Gty, thank you. Add a tavern asap so we can try new characters and classes before big update and steam release (which eventually will be delayed till fall).
39-87 is 20%? well shit 20% is a huge difference at higher damages, its 1 for every 5 and it affects the per turn damage too, and im certain a lot of people would say that it hits lower more often than higher, thats just how the game rolls for them.
"The latest patch was there to introduce everyone to the new combat system that we now have resistances (super and low effects, dealing less or higher damage) and also what you apparently didn't like which is the randomness on hits, making the game a bit more strategic while on battles." Hey GTY, don't fix what is not broken!
Yeah, sounds like they are fixing things that aren't asked for or even broken, and they aren't rolling out the things that have been asked for. Just like way back in the beginning when then made it so you would get less gold after battles. Why make the game harder?!? It's taking me forever to level up with the way it was in the last version... And now it'll take even longer!
Gty, thank you for such a fun game. I wanted to post and show my appreciation for your hard work. i just recently got the game and i love it. The change to combat does take some getting used to, but it reflects the spirit of pen and paper RPGs, where you had to roll damage.
There was a new area added a few months ago, now that I restarted the game after a reinstall, I cant seem to find that area anywhere any more. What happened?
Any chance we'll see new content? I'd love to play again with a different party, but it would be more interesting if there are new quests. It would be cool to have branches in some quests where you can decide what to do - rescue the princess or feed her to the dragon?
I just started playing this yesterday. It's bloody good. I just unlocked a new class Spoiler Hunter and am now debating whether or not I want to kick out one of my five classes to give it a shot.
