Only issue with a necromancer is that I didn't plan for using that ability, so I have my 2 melee dps on the outside edges, and my tank in the middle.
How abut a "T'was not the end of the world, hoorayy!" update making the game magically free? It is a crime in Djibouti to deprave a DM of this game Nevermind, watched all, good game. Buy it!
Indeed. Had to abandon quest and restart. Now at final boss (the big one) in my 1st playthrough. Whats a good level to be for this battle? Wiped the floor with my lvl 32 crew.
Which final boss do you mean? I'm asking because I completed the game (got the message Campaign completed and got the achievement) at level 28 and found a bit easy, so I'm not sure now...I have every zone at 100% except the new added quests at the portal. Am I missing something?
The final boss is completing the quest at the Chromatic Nest. I just beat the final boss with fully stocked characters ranging from level 37 to 39, and that was no easy task. I'm guessing that you haven't been through that battle yet since the final boss wiped the floor with me when I was in the early 30s level wise.
Tips for beating the final boss I just beat the final boss for the first time with the following crew: Rogue - Level 38 - Four Rings x 2, Elite Harpy Beak x 2 Warrior - Level 39 - Four Rings x 3, Elite Harpy Beak Barbarian - Level 37 - Four Rings x 4 Mage - Level 39 - Four Rings x 4 Druid - Level 39 - Four Rings x 4 I would also recommend *many* Portable Shield potions, as well as many "Greater Phoenix Up" items. Before I stocked up and leveled up as much as I did, the final boss absolutely destroyed me. Even with my levels and items, it was an extremely hard fought battle.
I see...I actually defeated some dragons there...thought it was an optional 'grind forever dungeon' so I didn't continue. I got the end campaign message defeating another boss.
Final Boss You'll see what I mean after you complete the quest there. The first half of the dungeon is defeating all five dragons. That's not too hard. The last battle is a whole other matter. (See my earlier post on how I had my characters equipped).
Quick question. I'm playing this on Android, and I think I've run into a bug, and was wondering if I did and it's known, or if it's behaving as expected. I bought the Player Book a while back, and recently switched to the Monster Book. However, unlike everything else I've bought for my DM Room, it's telling me that I have to buy the Player Book again if I want to use it again. Are books different in this manner than the rest of the furniture/etc.? Or is this a bug somehow? Thanks.
Just got the update, and the problem I posted about earlier does not appear to be fixed (need to kill enchaned gate, I think, but there is no creature by that name at the quest location). I still can't advance on that quest! Please help! <edit> Found the original post: I'm on the quest called Minions Everywhere: Part #2. The quest says I need to kill 6 Trap Gates, but there is no enemy available by that name. There are Enchanted Armor, Missing No., and Iron Maiden. I've tried killing each of them, but none of them seem to work for the quest. Please help! <\edit>
I very much appreciate the larger money reward after battles. It will make this game a little more playable and I might progress further finally.
This is, without a doubt, my pick for Game of the Year. I don't think I have ever enjoyed any game on my iPhone as much as Knights of Pen & Paper. Seriously, this game is amazing. Keep up the good work!
Does Knights of Pen and Paper's IAP restore? I had bought the $10,000 gold pack, but am now pruning apps off my iPad. When I reinstall in future, will the $10,000 IAP still be recoverable or is it considered used up?
