Also, I noticed I've been constantly getting about a +5 bonus to all of my rolls. Any idea whats causing this? It stopped for about 5 minutes today, then kicked back in.

    Sounds good to me.

@Skobel24 You get a bonus after a minute or two of playing, there's nothing more to it.

    Items for Characters

I am having trouble equiping my characters with the items purchased or bought. Most times, when I drag and item to one of the four slots for the characters, the item will not stay. This has happened even when I have tried to return items to one of the four slots after I have removed them to try and make room for something else. Am I missing something, or is this a bug in the game?

    Thanks!

I wish they had a change party member option, rather than having to delete a current character.

Yea, but then again, everyone could just switch from a grinding to a boss party on the fly and that'd be boring, too.

So far, the Paladin-Hunter-Bard-Rogue is doing great for me.

Shaman will be getting swapped out with either a Warrior, Knight, or Barbarian. It just doesn't fit my play style, and I prefer melee type dps. Having one of the 3 mentioned above will also benefit from Power Chord. Which one should I take?

Warrior: I love the 2 damaging abilities it has. It's aoe is okay, but I love the single target attack.
Knight: Something about this class intrigues me. Defensive Strike adds that 20% crit chance, which might make it a decent damaging ability. The damage reduction he receives is an added benefit. The passive crit/hp steal is another plus. Between the 50% damage reduction, and him gaining health back, I don't think I'd need to worry about healing him much.
Barbarian: While I LOVE its passive abilities, I don't like the enrage ability. I find it's too inconsistent, and I don't want him getting additional threat.

I've not used Barbarian so I don't know exactly how much damage he can do when buffed, but Warrior does 2-3 times more damage than Knight. I know Knight sounds good at first until you realize his numbers will be so low that he'll be next to useless.

I played around with a Necromancer and discovered that Help from Below is an insanely good skill. Came up with possibly the strongest team, the idea is to get 100% crit or close to that on three attackers by using the Necromancers Help from Below skill. Since they'll do a lot of damage, they should get full health just from AoE attacks each turn. Necro&Bard are healed with the Bard's single-target+self heal.

    1. Warrior
    2. Hunter
    3. Rogue
    4. Necromancer
    5. Bard

Hunter gets 10% crit from developer character, ~20-30% from skill, 0-20% from crit rings (they also give +1 dice roll, have enough of these and you can't lose a roll ever again), rest from the Necro's spell. Since Volley doesn't scale, you'll get really sick damage.

Rogue gets lots of crit from his skill already, but eventually you can get less points in that for even more Double Strike.

The idea is that you can replace crit skills/rings with attack skills/beaks the higher your crit gets, anything above 90% crit will be fine.

Bard/Necro should have high initiative to go first(use +initiative items if you can), the rest should have relatively low initiative. If you buy the +10 initiative coffee from the shop, you'll go before your enemies most of the time anyways. Buy the coffee with the dog so you get +7 minutes duration, you can switch the pet afterwards and keep the longer duration.

Hunter is so strong that it can take out whichever 5 enemies it targets in 1-2 Volleys, the other two attackers are mostly for taking out the other 2 enemies in a pack of 7 and for providing single target damage against bosses. Have fun breaking the game and stomping enemies quickly with this stupidly good team :D

The only small downside is that Hunter&Rogue do eat quite a bit of MP but with this damage output & the +dice roll from the rings, healing after each battle shouldn't be too bad. Put an MP leech character on the Rogue anyways.

This was another option I was considering. Would power chord effect the necromancers minions at all? Ive narrowed it down to warrior or necro.

Power Chord raises Attack, Summon Minion does damage based on Magic. If you want to test this, just equip an attack/magic item and check the damage on the skill description. In general, magic damage is listed in numbers while physical damage is listed in percentages. Not that many enemies will survive long enough for Summon Minion to do much damage :p

I noticed something in the description for "Help From Below" It mentions the target and his neighbors get the buff. Does that mean just the characters directly beside the player you put the buff on? My hunter and rogue are on the outside edge, so if this is the case, I'll definitely be going with a warrior instead.

Yes, that's why in my post above all the damage dealers are next to each other :p

Dropped the Shaman, but now I can't decide what to take.
Currently using: Paladin, Rogue, Hunter, Bard

    Warrior, Barbarian, or Druid?

I've been reading that later on, having someone capable of backup heals is VERY helpful, but I found the druids damage is well, nothing special. I'm also not having MP issues with the rest of my characters.

Warrior seems like a good choice, however, I am a bit worried about its MP usage. One thing I liked about the Hunter/Rogue is that I can invest in that passive ability to increase the damage, so having a lower level volley/heartshit and double strike still do some solid damage, without burning MP.

Barbarian, I love the passive abilities, but I hate the enrage ability.

    Any suggestions?

Druid lets you go all out on high-level damage skills, that's his best asset by far later on. His great single-target heal will help immensely in the last boss fight if you use a tank with high threat.

Warrior doesn't use nearly as much MP as Hunter or Rogue so that shouldn't be an issue.

I don't think Barbarian does much damage at all, probably the weakest physical attack class.

Consider Necromancer also, Help from Below has become my favourite support spell in the game. It'll boost your Hunter & Rogue's & Paladin's crit immensely and will make them heal fully each attack. In a Warrior&Rogue&Hunter party, HfB is definitely an overpowered spell and will make your offense&defense ridiculous.

If you want to play beyond the last boss, switching as many four rings for +12 attack beaks as possible should be your first goal. They made a world of difference for damage, my lvl 76 Hunter ended up doing 100% crit 1000 dmg x5 Volleys :D My party could've killed the last boss in a single turn I think but no replaying that battle unfortunately.

That said, I'm done with the game and have deleted it. Great as it was, I think I've managed to discover all there is to it :)
