I like discovering how this game works and so far I've been able to answer every question I had by simply messing around with the game, by resetting characters and trying everything out by myself. Gives me that oldschool feel when the internet wasn't around to answer everything
I appreciate it! I'm all level 20 now, five players. I don't think I'm doing the amount of team members right but I'm still having a lot of fun!
@solo playthrough: That sounds super uninspiring/boring, here's a preview: Pick a life-leech tank (Barbarian or Knight), stat items/skills/table accordingly. Use the same 1-2 skills + a few items overandoverandover until you can outheal the damage output of the last boss. Really no strategy or challenge to it @Rusothil: 5 team members at the same level sounds ideal, especially if you're not going to replace any of them! I've replaced every single team member except for Druid by now, Gaia's Blessing (the mp heal) is just too invaluable to lose.
You still waste exp on them when completing quests. I would like to attempt to solo the game with all classes. It was very fun in undercroft.
Can't be bothered to try, but I don't suppose you can delete the second character in town afterwards?
You can't. All the dialogues were made as if there were at least 2 characters playing. But the challenge sounds fun enough, it reminds me solo-hanza-challenge on ff:tactics. I'll talk to my teammates when we get back to work (people are travelling and stuff) because this is vacation time in brazil
hi gty, can you tell me roughly when will be available the update with the fix for languages? like i said, actually the game is unplayable for me. thanks!
It's almost 9 days now since you submitted the patch? It includes the fix for this quest to kill "6 traps..." (or something), right? I got 100% progress in all towns but the "All Seeing Eye Castle", which is at 86%. So waiting for the fix badly...
Unlocking Plains Temple for the plains temple shaman quest to have the area unlocked, you need to progress the main quest story along more. I think the quests with a STAR beside their name are a main quest. Note that once you unlock the Shaman quest, it is a multiple part quest that begins with the plains temple, so it will still take a bit of questing to unlock it. Someone else mentioned that your level should be 16 to unlock the plain temple but I am not so sure this is true,(for example the whole team must be 16 or higher or just one character, etc) Question for the veterans, where do you farm for gold, those collect quests that give out 50% gold are not that great so far. Perhaps there is a particular fight that does.
Not 100% sure, but I think gold rewards are tied to relative encounter level/difficulty so if you can find a collect quest where the encounters are above your level, that should get you the best rewards, but if you're doing collect quests that are way below your level, you might get more just by starting non-quest fights with higher level enemies.
Just always be doing quests and moving forward so enemies stay above your level, non-quest battles are a waste of time. Exp goes down a lot with the relative level of your party compared to the enemy, gold decreased only a little bit. This isn't a game where you have to grind really, if you feel like things are going to slowly, changing your party/skill composition is a better solution than leveling up.
Trap Gates? I'm currently on "Minions Everywhere: Part 2" that requires me to kill 6 trap gates. However, there are no trap gates. Is this a bug? Should mention that I downloaded the game a few days ago, and it's fully updated.
Dang it I just got there too @applecat, Are you sure? It has a star next to it. I might not be understanding you though.
Well you can finish the game and get all characters/stuff without it so it can't be important. I've got 100% everywhere except for that quest.
