I think picking a attack-based team (bard for attack song, hunter, rogue, druid for mp, tank or warrior if you can take the damage) or a magic-based team (shaman, mage, cleric, tank, ?) is a good place to start.
Yes, worldwide auto travel would be nice. Also I'd ask for retirement home for heroes, so we can try new ones during one campaign but without loss of elder ones.
You should have looked at the game with your own eyes, because the game has never been about grinding in the least.
I *think* we aren't far enough along in the story mission to gain access to the Plains Temple. At least, that's my guess based on some of the mission text thus far. Seems we aren't quite ready for the Shaman just yet
What's the highest level slay quest now? I am Leary of finishing the new portal because its great to get the 50% exp grind. Also thanks to behold for updating the +10 skill level stats. Feels more balanced and also that getting high levels will really do something as far as output.
I think Im gonna go and buy this! It looks super fun, the devs look like they could use support and its on sale! Ive never played D&D or any other pen and paper rpg. So here goes nothing!
Is it just me or is there absolutely no kind of tutorial or instructions, or anything? I touched the screen and a game started and I don't really know what is going on.
The slay quest at the portal is the highest level one, I think it goes up to level 42 (the birds)? Without it I got 20k exp from 7 birds... it's pretty quick if you use 1-2 +9% exp items per character. Money is more important in the end because shop items/blacksmith/the four ring will help more than a few levels.
So does anyone know how to unlock the plains temple? Also what specific quest unlocks the game dev characters?
So, is the soft cap for skills gone? The one which had everything but mage and shaman skills upgrade for almost nothing past level 15. And how was the necromancer changed again?
No, all skills "suffer" from the decrease still but I feel that's absolutely necessary for balance, otherwise rogues would be doing like 1000 damage per turn
some skills don't cap. I myself took the cap away from the poison skill so you might get way better rogues :3
That's still the worst DOT, no? Vanish & Double Attack are too important to take points away from either way I think the Necromancer is the worst class still unfortunately. He's only good on attack teams due to Help from Below. His DOT, like every single-target attack except for Double Strike, is inferior to multi-target attacks and his other two skills are useless (waste of a turn because of greater phoenix downs & attack teams need a Druid as a mp battery anways so no need for mp drain). Still, the idea of having a team heal only through hp steal is fun, but if the necro's initiative roll is low, that strategy is screwed A possible bug: If you've unlocked all classes, you still cannot be a Shaman from the beginning.
Picked this game up on a whim, and I am VERY pleased that I did! Very cool! I have a paladin/mage/rogue/cleric party on my first game. Any tips on what to add as the fourth? Just unlocked bard a few minutes ago.
I could not wait anymore so I changed my device to English and loving that feeling of old school rpg like the nes-snes times anyway can someone explain two little things that I still don't get 1. How does the dice rolls works when you travel or when you camping 2. Are there any level cap? btw the woofie have a text below that says "missing LAN_skill_name_passive
You've got healing and tanking covered, so another damage dealer would be nice! Shaman would be best for your party since you don't have a Necro/Bard to buff an attack/crit-based damage dealer.
I did unlock bard, so I could add that instead. Or am I just misunderstanding what you said about not having a Necro/Bard to buff. Actually, its saying I only have warrior, druid or bard to add tobthe party.
Bard and Necro can buff classes that use attack/crit to boost their damage, so you'd have a combination of hunter, rogue, barbarian or warrior backed by one of those classes (their damage isn't worth it without the buffing), but mage and shaman use magic/mp to boost their damage and deal a little less damage but don't need the buffing really. Check the wiki on how to unlock shaman, the quest starts at the yoga temple iirc. If you want to add a class right now, go with warrior and go heavy on the damage. @Ausar You get +luck on the dice rolls after playing for 5-10 minutes or so. There's no level cap but things get slower from 40 onwards.
