I understand it, I really do, I'm also a gamer and it's very frustrating for me as well to release something that frustrates people, specially because we're dealing with other people's real money. We're really really sorry for that. Thanks for the support, unfortunately, if your device's language is at one of those listed in my post you won't be able to play. You should change your device's language to any other than the listed ones to be able to play. By the way, if you're playing on Android, you should update your version because it's already fixed. If you're playing in an iOS device, it's sad to say that you should wait a few days because apple is that annoying and we can't make hot fixes. It's perfectly playable if your device is in English or any other language that wasn't listed on my post. It only messes up if your language is set to: Spanish/French/Italian/German. Again, sorry for that.
I'm on the quest called Minions Everywhere: Part #2. The quest says I need to kill 6 Trap Gates, but there is no enemy available by that name. There are Enchanted Armor, Missing No., and Iron Maiden. I've tried killing each of them, but none of them seem to work for the quest. Please help!
we are aware of that bug too. we use unity3d in a svn environment, that makes unity lose some references when we commit the code to each other. and on the current ios version that happened and you can't progress on the campaign. a fix has been made and uploaded to the ios store as well. we believe it'll be online within 4~5 days. (otherwise the android version is already patched up) yes! we've already uploaded a fix to the ios store but like I said, apple is such a pain for these hot fixes. every update we send to them they need to get in line so the patch will get reviewed then the patch will get online. that takes around 4~5days. ): np!
It's good there are workarounds. But don't forget that after tomorrow the App Store will be locked down for a week. So the earliest I think any new updates can come out again is the 30th.
I must be blind...there's no Plains Temple on my map. I'm trying to unlock the Shaman and have the quest to visit the Plains temple. Any help?
Hmm... sad... my saved game got overridden. What happened was that I created a new game in slot 2 to check the abilities of the new heroes, didn't complete the process but used the phone's back button to exit, and then later when I chose to load my slot 1 save, it suddenly became a duplicate of the slot 2. Edit: Forgot to add this was on an Android phone. How does mp steal work btw?
Aaaand my old save is gone too. Sigh. Does anyone care listing what exactly are those new quests and skills, cause having to replay this twice just to unlock everything doesn't seem worth it otherwise.
Hello, community. Where can I find some answers? How to improve luck, why sometimes it is diminished? What kind of monsters are great for mushroom and smith stone grinding? How can I exchandge one party member for anither one? Don't want to start all over again just to have a bard.
Luck is improved over playing time, but you can get items too if I remember correctly. Sleeping might decrease it. Mushrooms grow in forests, stone in caces. Jyst tap on them on the sides when the appear in a couple of minutes. Exchange is only possible in towns, but it resets the dropped character unfortunately. So switching back it will be lv1 again.
Where do you find the plains temple? Is it near Yoga village? I cannot seem to access it. The travel quests should automatically plot your course... screen shot or directions to the temple would be appreciated. It seems softflow (post#649) has the same issue I do .. is it another BUG?
I checked the new shop, and the new prices and merchandise look good. Now it's the blacksmith which needs some love, because that 8 hour shit is just out of place and smells of in app purchases. Personally, it would seem normal to me that the blacksmith needs like 1 hour to build anything, and if you're in higher standing with him that means discount, but most importantly you can build more than one item at the same time (seriously, I completed the game several times and NEVAR EVAR had the time to fully upgrade more than 1 item let alone a character or party).
the mana steal is just like the life steal, whenever you hit with auto-attack or any physical-type ability, it recovers mana based on a % of your damage. you can check the knights wiki, there are tons of info there: http://knightsofpenandpaper.wikia.com/wiki/Knights_of_Pen_%26_Paper_Wiki (its fan made) we received lots of emails telling that we have broken the game with this 'huge' (as these people stated) amount of gold. and i must agree that the gold is way easier to get now, so it wouldnt be a problem to speed up or craft items when you're about to close the app.
Game Impressions I purchased the game after the latest update and I absolutely loved it. The stronger you get, the more you can gear your table/equip towards experience/gold so the game doesn't feel like a grind at all. You can buy the blacksmith up to instant upgrading pretty quickly I felt and the pacing was excellent. The diversity and balance of the classes always left me wanting to try out others. I think before the next update I will replay the game wth the classes I haven't tried yet since they sound like a lot of fun. Mom should be doable from level 30 onwards after the latest update, I was way overgeared/-levelled and she didn't put much of a scratch on me! Using an all-attack/crit team + bard worked out pretty well throughout the game. Overall I felt like the Druid was the most useful class from early to late game as it has a big hp/mp pool, can crowd-control, heal hp and mp and even do acceptable damage. For those who find it difficult to relevel after a class switch: Once you've unlocked the store levels, you can put level 30 items on level 1 characters (bug?). Either way, just cover the new class in as many +% exp items while still being able to survive and they'll catch up rather quickly The only improvement I can think of: If you have to travel to a place across the world, let the player click that place and have the horse auto-travel there. Clicking on travel 5+ times frequently got pretty annoying and I dreaded travelling in the end. Merry Christmas to Behold Studios
From the sounds of it, does the game feel like less of a grind now? Never picked this up originally cause of enough complaints about the grind.
If you pick a decent team (I suggest looking at classes on the wiki first) you will never have to do battles outside of quests up until the very last boss who does require a bit of grinding but with quests giving bonuses and you receiving like 20k exp/250g per battle, it's really not bad.
Hm..thanks.. Looks like I need to do some research first before trying the game to pick the optimal character/class? Gotta do some homework first. lol..
