Man, what the heck. Is my English THAT bad?!? I am not even able to create ONE character, because it costs 10 ingame cash and I have 5. By all means, I CAN NOT simply play anything! ......
Did you try deleting and re-installing? Maybe with the games mysterious disappearance from App Store and now re-emergence the developer fixed some issues.
Yes, tried it several times and just again about 10mins ago (after the game was pulled and is now back...).
Odd. I pulled up the app and tried to create a new game. It allows me to place 2 characters into the initial 2 chairs for free then starts charging me after the third chair. At a new game on release I had to start with a two character party beause you will need to acquire gold and unlocks to utilize all the chairs. Once you have two characters in the chairs just click on the exclamation mark icon illuminated above the head of the "dungeon master." He will ask for confirmation and you should be able to proceed. If it is now saying that you need $10 to fill even the first chair then obviously something is amiss. The developer, qty, is active on TA forums and will hopefully help you out. As an aside it doesn't appear there is anyway to exchange gold or items, adding a mailbox to send other users stuff might be a nice addition in future updates

Man..... I have found a workaround. If I change the language of my ipad to English (which I NEVER had to do for any app) it seems to work. The chars can now be added for free. Will try this out now. However there are missing language-references/strings everywhere. Texts in char descriptions missing, all that. What a bloody mess, I hope this game is worth all my effort..............

*** For everyone that has a Menu bug, please don't rewrite your save! *** If you have your device in Spanish/French/German/Italian, please, we had some localization problems. We even thought that this problem was some kind of reference problem into our game. Our localization plugin apparently ignored our preferences localization code and were grabbing your device's language. And since we uploaded an incomplete Localization file with Spanish, French, German and Italian, it bugged lot's of saves. And again, Rosso, thanks for your help. We're DEEPLY sorry about this. And we didn't had the problem while testing. The version was not "early" released or anything like that. Our iphones have their localization preferences in english/portuguese and these are the languages the game is currently working, so we didn't actually tried it. AGAIN, PLEASE, DONT DELETE YOUR FILE. And please don't delete de game and reinstall it because that will make you lose all your progress! The +10g to buy a character is a bug when the menu gets bugged. The first 2 characters are for FREE and you shouldn't pay for them. In these versions: 1.3 (iOS) and 1.31 (Android), you must change your phone's language to any other than Spanish/French/German/Italian. We're changing that right now and will upload a new version in a few moments. The problem is fixed in our pcs. Unfortunately, we have to wait like 5~6days for Apple to release our next version. [joke-time]The good thing about it is that you know already what are the languages we're currently localizing the game, right? haha[/joke-time] Anyway, we apologize about this and soon enough you'll be ready to play on your correct device language. I know you might be mad but we're not happy as well. We're really sorry for any inconvenience this update might have cause to you and any other too. But complaining that we '####ed up' tha game isn't the best encouraging words we need and everyone else needs to read as well. I've post above what you should do to fix this localization bug and I really hope you didn't get mad enough to stop playing. The raging isn't always the best option, I'm active in this thread as you may read so many pages behind. We are kind of trying to make it even better and better. Want to quickly pop in and say thanks-- you guys really are doing a great job. As an indie development company, you're doing a lot very quickly (and, I imagine, with limited resources). Please don't get discouraged by the various nerdrage; those folks will calm down. They wouldn't be so upset in the first place if it wasn't already great game. Looking forward to seeing where things go from here! Keep up the great work!
It's not really his job to encourage you. I think his upset is pretty reasonable. It's not like he attacked you personally. Maybe it's just a cultural thing, but I'd say if he gets pretty mad but he's cursing the game, not you, then it's not so bad.
Sorry gty, but you would be as angry as him if someone just bumped your car while picking his nose and tried to play victim because you raised your voice at him subsequently. Get some new guys in your team if you want to play the big scene, honestly.
thanks, eluros I got his feeling, this thread doesn't have too many active people and I believe I can go a little more personal than just a studio-costumer relation. thats why I've post that but encourage was definitely not the best word I could choose. I know its value and I agree people could and might be mad/angry but it's not the solution. we never thought we could play in the big scene at all. in our team we have made some sort of bet like: "how many K are we selling the first month?", 3 people said: "less than 10k". Which pretty demonstrates that we weren't expecting this at all. having more people on our team demands lots of other things and also money. it's kind of pointless to have a new girl/boy if we don't really have that money but I got your point and I agree. anyway, I know the value of your money and also time spent in game, I know the value of me and you being active here in this thread, I know the value of an angry player and I know the value of my game. I just think getting that angry is never the solution :3 (if I were him I would probably get as angry but I wouldnt post like that)
As I said, a cultural thing. From the US point of view it doesn't seem exceptional. Your way is probably better.
Largely because it seems almost the norm now to be demanding and entitled to the point of rudeness that nobody even notices I probably shouldn't have said that - don't want to have to get my asbestos underwear out (again)
sorry for my frustration gty, but the issues are so much and so rude that i can't sit and wait looking at the icon 'cause the game turns unplayable... i'm liking and enjoying it, now i'm cutted off, i've even lost my save and don't like having to start again!
Just bought this specially to give a little support to a fellow latin american devs, i love rpgs but i haven't playing D&D or any kind of pen and paper rpg Now Gty i have my iphone in spanish does the bug happen to all devices or just a few? would you recommend for now to play like that or wait for the update to fix this issue? Edit: Well i got the bug as well some words in portuguese, 5 gold when the first character cost 1, no biggie i will wait for the update to fix this since in the meantime ravensword and bastion are going to keep me busy
Is this perfectly fine and playable if you are English? Is it only messed up if change language from English to another?
