I was going to ask this actually, what exactly do those numbers mean? On top of the enemies. And yeah I decided to go grandma paladin before I even read this, seems like the logical choice for a tank.
Been playing this all day. Around level 20 now. Game is starting to feel like a grind. The quests where you need to defeat like 10+ of something and you can only take on one or two of them at a time, are very annoying. It's the same pattern over and over again. Mage stun and druid sleep cycle, attack and attack, replenish MP with druid, etc. I want to like this game but I feel like the grind is only going to become more apparent soon. Anyone care to comment?
You got it, it's their turn number. Player "1" is the first to attack, then 2, 3 etc. Yes, those are annoying but mostly optional: the main quests are those marked by a star (on the map and on the quest maker menu). Just skip them, it's not like they hold so much of a reward... What is your party like? Believe me, parties based on CC (crowd control) are safer but much more boring than all out AOE damage.
I can't see a reason for what happened with you. We can't really configure the game to work on older iOS versions, I'm not going to name the reasons because I didn't want to get too technical here but a good example would be: "it doesn't matter if your computer is the best one available, if you're running windows 3.1 you won't run any games around.", so an update on your iOS sometimes is required as you may have seen on other apps as well.
Woofie Druid, Mr John Cleric, ET Mage, Jock Warrior, and Grandma Paladin. Levels 19-20. My Druid is total support as I haven't even leveled up the Feral Rage attack. My Paladin is a tank more than a hitter as well, level 6 Leader Strike. I unlocked the Hunter character, is he worth dropping one of my existing characters for? What's his stats?
So will later updates require having at least iOS 6.0? You might want to add details to App Store details regarding the constant need to keep iOS updated in order to continue to use this app. Unfortunately, for me, it's a big hassle to delete a lot of my larger games in order to make room to download an updated iOS. So, maybe ill get to try this game again when I get a new phone in a year or so. It's just unfortunate that I won't be able to play it on my phone anymore and possibly be adding to your IAP revenue. I really did enjoy it while it was playable on my current iOS.
It's not a decision by the developers so much, it's that the tools that developers use (both Apple and non-Apple) tend to not support iOS versions that are too old. So even if you just make some trivial bugfixes, when you rebuild the game it might not support old iOS versions that it did before. It's hard to believe you have to delete "a lot" of games to upgrade your OS. How do you even download game updates, then? A lot of them require more memory than an OS upgrade does.
Consider giving Cleric and Druid level 1 in an attack spell, to spam whenever their CC and heals isn't immediately necessary. My paladin was specced in threat generation and bubble, plus level 1 in sword\threat to spam all the time. Just pay attention to buying some items\shop\crafting to give your toon a little bit of mana regen. Also since both paladin and warrior are tanks, you might make them half tank and half dps, as paired together they would still absorb most of the hits for the party. No, don't drop any high level character for a level 1 hunter. He would be killed easily, take a lot of time to reach a decent pace etc. Just wait until you finish the main quest, and then make a new party with a hunter as well. The hunter stats are very high damage and initiative, he excels in both aoe and single target: I don't know the actual numbers, but he should be behind shaman and mage for max damage.

My iPhone is my main game device and I rarely have over 200mb free. It's difficult with so many good games out to not buy them an give them a go. I really love supporting indie developers, but its a challenge to limit my storage. Oh well. I'll jump back into this one someday when I get a new device and go through the setting up process. Definitely get the 32gb iPhone next time.
Question for you all: I'm actually an Android user (but, since this seems to be like the best place to discuss the game, I've been posting here). I have a new Android phone, and would like to transfer my save for this game. Anyone know if that's possible?
I never tried but the last time I checked, this was done through apps (there's several, if you look for backup savegame android) s and not actualy copy & paste from the file explorer. Could be wrong, but most importantly the app might not support P&PK.
So like I just started the campaign #2 and beat it within like 40 minutes. Is that all? Because if so then it was pretty disappointing...
That's disappointing. I thought the second part would be a long "arena" campaign considering everything reset and all. That red dragon was far too weak, shame. But all in all, great game regardless.
Paladin attack I downloaded game yesterday and i notice that Paladin special attack dosen't work. Leader strike only does damage = to attack, I never see the bonus attack. I use iPhone 3GS.
If you update the game to the latest version, I think that should be fixed. He might be experiencing the old bug that made that attack do nothing.
