Umm, I thought the DM says (quite early in the game) that each time you sleep the enemies increase in difficulty. Or did they change it?
Only says "each night increases the danger", not the difficulty. I didn't really notice any difference. Maybe after a while I was attacked more while sleeping, because of getting increased luck requirements?
how did you guys unlock the game dev characters? i was planning on doing a 2nd run w/ a finalized party after unlocking classes/characters, but as i was going through the list of characters, i realized i don't have them unlocked. odd since i'm lv31 and i already walked everywhere i think there's only slay quests that i didn't do early on
I think there's a quest for it at the forest temple, down south. I guess the classic approach would be having a tank (paladin, warrior, knight), a healer (cleric, bard), a CC specialist (rogue, druid) and the rest dps (mage, shaman etc). Your loadout lacks a tank, but I guess you can trying AOEing everything down. I think that's flavour text, like ominous foreboding by the game master to keep things interesting (it works if you're on your toes lol).
"I think there's a quest for it at the forest temple, down south." ehh? i have 100% there no quests whatsoever
When you move from locale to locale, there's a dice roll that occurs and it says something about luck. What's that all about?
I'm so sad. I just completed the main campaign and everything else. AWESOME game, GOTY contender. It was just perfect...after the update I got no bugs and XP progression was much more linear. Completed everything at around level 28-29, in about 900 days. I wish I could have tried the unlocked classes without restarting from scratch tough. I do hope to see more campaigns in the future, maybe even more serious ones with the same combat mechanic that IMHO was just perfect and balanced. Game is HIGHLY recommended, outstanding work, congratulations to everyone involved.
Some amulets, rings and characters give you luck: it just permanently adds to your rolls...very useful.
No, I refer to that green number under the dice, when you roll for harvesting mushrooms and iron, or when you travel. I do not know if it matters even during combat, but I do not think so (usually damages are fixed).
Gold harvesting tip! Spoiler On collect quests you get 50% more gold...so if you want to keep collecting, just sell or drop the items you are collecting to grind with the bonus!
Where's a collect quest at? Does that mean while on the quest any of that item I get bonus even with selling?
If I were you, I would complete the game with that layout and later replay it all with a better understanding of it. Just pay attention to keep a lot of money so the "next generation" can get a head start. If I really had to choose, I would replace the rogue in there so you can AOE with all characters and farm 7 mobs groups fast. I leveled up my knight tank with 1 point in defensive strike, 1 in dragon strike and as many as necessary in +crit so that defensive strike was always a crit. I never used his threat talent, having the Hugo character's threat bonus and an item. I also had the hourglass, which makes his bubble ability last twice as long. I checked and it's a "star" marked quest, as to say part of the main quest chain. I guess if you ever beat the 5 devs team (happens twice in the storyline), you should have them unless it bugged out.
What are the days for in the game? Can I take my time with this game or does the days passed actually matter?
The collect quests are gathering items from enemies, like apples or fur or ooze. It will tell you when you hit the ! Quest button that there is a 50 percent bonus to gold but I think it is only referring to battle loot. There are many such quests throughout the game.
Slay quests share the same trick, for xp. Take a quest like "kill 10 harpies", then do 9 and abandon it. The quest will be reset and all those harpies come at 150% xp worth.
There's game center leaderboards for days passed, so you can challenge yourself to try and beat the game faster.
What does Threat mean or do? Do I want a higher or lower number? Please educate me. Thanks in advance!
