Been waiting for an update, then I check the forum and I see two or so days, great news . Just wanted to say thanks for the status update!
Loving every second with this game, it's the Puzzle Quest of the 2012 for me. The thing I love most is that nothing is as it seems...meaning sometimes you pick up the most dull looking fetch quest and bam! After a bit it became a cool story based quest that unlock a class or proceed the main campaign. Some questions/notes: 1) Do abilities stack? If I weaken an enemy twice, does the weaken value stack? 2) If I remove a character to try a new class, will it begin from level 1 again? 3) What exactly do 'reset stats' in the castle? 4) Why if the app get kicked out from memory, all the achievemts resync? 5) There must be a bug with the traveler achievement...I got it but have many unvisited locations still. 6) When the last enemy dies for a previously applied effect (like fire) and you select attack with your next character, the game freeze. Overall, I'm having a blast playing this gem, congrats.
1) No, they don't stack. However, different maluses do stack: like weaken and bleed. 2) Yes. 3) It means you can reassign the skill points of 1 character. You mentioned Puzzle Quest for great justice, I effing loved that one. Edit Now that the shop bug is fixed, I replayed the game with a 5 men party: Palatank, Cleric healer, Mage dps, Rogue and Druid dps\cc. But I have completed the game and I'm lvl 25. Where am I supposed to keep grinding levels?!
Personally I fight groups of 7 missingnos or sometimes include the void. Don't know if it's the best but I get 10k-14k exp each fight depending on gear.
thanks for your feedback. 4) the achievement thing is a bug and will be fixed on newer version (whenever apple decides to release it, we're waiting for a few days already) 5) the traveler achievement is indeed bugged, we realized that before we could take it away, anyway congratz for it haha 6) this will also be fixed on newer version around page 35 or so in this topic there are some people discussing best ways to farm for items/xp. there are also some videos on youtube
They're so secret that even devs can't remember well without looking into the game center page. Spoiler I can give you a hit, try creating a new save and instead of choosing 1~2 soldiers for the first quest, place like 5~7 so you won't be able to kill. Let the game defeat you and there ya go.
haha thanks! i would have never got that one. while we're discussing achievements, Spoiler i can't get the achievement "Rise From Your Grave". i've tried letting everyone die and then resurrecting them, but that didn't work.
At this point, beating Mom either comes down to buying gold or grinding the same fight hundreds of time. So... no.
UPDATE is live!!!! Just tried!!! FINALLY MY PALADIN CAN MAKE SOME SERIOUS DAMAGE!!! Used to do 8-9....now he just did 100!!!
You didn't have it because of that? Wow it wasn't that bad. I'm still new to the game my party is at level 17 just got the hunter,bard and beat the game devloper team
Spoiler for this one you need to be defeated and hit the continue but you can't have any money to ress any of your characters. this was discussed already and we will change that for continue a game (ressing everyone at default village) even if you still have money. it's a game design problem we just saw there and we will change it.
Hating the new update.. Rewards seem to be nerfed for fights and the shop items cost more. Sure some skills are fixed but now even more grinding is required. Traveling cost is cut in half but 30 to 15 isn't that big of a difference compared to the other changes. Maybe I'm wrong, I dunno. Unless I am though, I'll probably wait to play unless this gets changed. I know devs have to make money but still..
The initial iOS version was so old that I don't know for sure if rewards were lower than current iOS version. We did not put it down though, we did increased it. Items value are the same, we didn't changed anything on that. The only thing that is currently higher than before is the blacksmith prices which were increased a few golds like 71 to 75. But we had cut in half the money you spend in travels so in a few moments maybe it's not that much but if you think like in a few hours of playing, you should have a bigger amount of money, right? Consumable items are now cheaper too so you may buy a few more. Unfortunatelly we've heard that the barbarian berserking skill bug still occurs - which makes me sad. It will be fixed next update and I'm really sorry for that. Necromancer is way better now (his dot is the most powerful dot in game I believe) and lots of other stuffs have been made to the game too. The blacksmith is no longer available in the Default Village. The user experience wasn't quite good: everyone thought the gold was way too low because they wanted to upgrade their weapons right away and saw the in-app at the same time. So we took it off from Default Village and placed on next villages. I can't recall every single bug fix that was made in game but we're so thankful to a few people that helped us out on Localization settings, a big thanks to: Vlad Z. aka Echoseven and Nick Manfre aka nicodemus82, and a friend of mine Chris Bueno. These were the awesome people that helped us out making the story even better. Btw, iphone5 support is already live.
Loving the game even more now that some of the bugs I was experiencing (paladin attack in particular) are gone. One question tough...I have an iPad 3 and an iPhone 4S...I can't see any difference in graphic (I love it btw) so I wonder what is this 'retina' upgrade...everything it is as before. I was just wandering why I couldn't find the standard village blacksmith anymore...you probably did the right thing (another method would have be grant access to the blacksmith only after a certain level).
