Sorry but I don't feel as though I understand your comment. Would you mind clarifying?

This game is too easy. What happened devs?

The previous one had way more challenges and surprises like the mum boss etc.

Should we start giving it poor ratings so the devs will fix it

Terrible idea. It's a fun little game and you get your money's worth.

Just finished. It's a really great game! Gameplay is an improvement on the first but the writing isn't as sharp. Would definitely recommend for those who enjoyed the first.

Would you say it took you about 8 hours to beat as well?

And I would think rating the game lower would discourage other people from buying it, which in turn would discourage it from being supported with updates. Let's not do that!

Exactly my feeling, maybe because it is a sequel, the novelty is gone.

Is it me or you have no restriction anymore in attributing the skills: i.e. you are allowed to pump only 1 skill ? This encourages even more specialisation and you end up throwing the same skills at each battle.

It is by no means a bad game but it certainly did not try to improve over the last game.

Has anyone been able to 100% every zone? I'm at 90 for tower of brass, 84 for past, 71 nameless bridge and 58 for graveyard. All investigations done, all level 25, no quest remaining in any zone.

I'm wondering if it has to do with choices made. I fought the troll (didn't pay), Left the door unlocked, took the real scroll from the cave man (don't remember the other choices).

If someone's don't better on the completions can they explain the choices they made in the campaign here?

Also wondering if it's a class thing. I am running thief cleric Mage hunter paladin.

Also, the has anyone found any crafts not in the recipe list? I'm running around with a bunch of crafting materials (vowels, granite, etc.) that don't have any obvious use.

I'm tempted to pick this up now--I like easy games! I've become quite the casual player these days. Maybe it's because my life is challenging, and I'm too tired to put in the effort when playing games.

There wasn't any restrictions in the first either ( skill progression wise ) I believe if you wanted you could always level up just - one - skill.

I'm really enjoying it though. It's a casual approach. There's a bit of grinding involved ( which I enjoy ) but it's not pay-wall grindy.

The visuals are great. I find the comedy humorous, the skills and characters / classes are all great. I'm also enjoying the dungeons in this one.

I'd love more content and characters. The first game was immensely popular and lots of people had heart for what it was.

Let's hope for some awesome updates!

I am wondering the same thing. I have completed the game and have the exact same completion figures stated above for the different game locations. I chose differently for the caveman scroll (accepted the printed version) and I chose to leave the brain-in-a-jar switch on (still wondering what would have happened if I turned it off).
As for impressions, Knights of Pen & Paper 2 was pretty fun. The game mechanics are interesting, the characters are likeable, the graphics are nice. The game was rather easy and short but it kept me hooked for a few days, so it's nice to play in short bursts. Gave the game 4 stars in the app store.

EDIT: Oh I almost forgot: my only gripe with the game (not considering the eventual bugs in the action input while in battle) was with the inventory/stash manipulations which caused graphical bugs and were really a pain.

    Kinda meh

Finished twice and loved the first one.

I was expecting a little more from classes, team strategies and item recipes.

    Some tips for each class:

Cleric — You definitely want Radiance and Purge. Don't invest too much on Restoration. I use Human Rocker here.
Paladin — I didn't use any and wouldn't use unless I need a second healer.
Warrior — Rich Kid Dwarf and throw all points on Riposte. This will focus all the damage into him.
Ninja — Just Smoke Bomb the heck out of the battlefield. AOE Stun is the best you can get. Start as Elf for the extra mana. I go Goth.
Barbarian — See, you want the Cleric because Purge is awesome, but then you lose the best about the Barbarian. Anger Management + Frenzied Strike is devastating, but since you'll be spamming Purge most of the time, it is pointless.
Mage — Don't waste your time with Fireball because Burn sucks. Every other skill is good and I usually alternate Arcane Flow and Frostbite to start. I make Exchange Student + Elf. Human is fine.
Warlock — I love this one. Lab Rat Elf with Summon Demon and Touch of Blight. Keep its threat at minimum with the extra trinket.
Thief — Didn't use much, but avoid Backstab. Barrage of Knives should definitely be your focus.
Hunter — I played a single build, but I liked it. Ambush and Prepared Arrow are lame, but Decoy is great and Hail of Arrows is decent.

    My team:

    Rich Kid Dwarf Warrior
    Rocker Human Cleric
    Lab Rat Elf Warlock
    Exc. Student Elf Mage
    Goth Elf Ninja

Where do you find barbarian? On my second playthrough, formed an AOE focused team, and it gets effortless with 0 legacy gold:
Lab rat mage, all in chain lightening, lab rat for more spell damage
surfer cleric, single healing tank and party mana replensh, you need your healer to be debuff-free.
Exch.stu Hunter, all in hail of arrows, and rest in ambush, passive boost the aoe unlike rogue, best AOE so far in game.
Rich kid warrior, he is a better tank than paladin imo, since his passive raises threat and rich kid for more counter attacks.
Jock ninja, best single physical, all in shadow chain, then vanish, jock for the 3-hand sword.

I feel like there's a shit ton of extra content I'm just missing. The game room is sparse. Crafting is weak. The gear choices are limited. The game was decent despite the disappointment. But damn. It needed 50% more.

I think the game just need to auto switch to harder difficulty once you completed once.. At least that will give most of us something to look for.. Currently the 2nd time round is even easier

Could we be missing something. I haven't finished it yet but the description does say "dozens of areas" and you guys are talking about %'s in like 4 areas.

The other areas are at 100%, but a few remain below.

I was wondering about the same thing a few pages back. My results from my first 2 playthroughs:

2: Tower of Brass (90% Complete)
    3: Graveyard (92% Complete)
    4: The Past (84% Complete)

I can't figure out how to complete them. Can anyone?
So I completed my second playthrough. This time I made some different choices in the game. My level of completeness is now different from the first.

1: Spawn Point Village (93% Complete)
    2: Nameless Bridge (90% Complete)
2: Tower of Brass (95% Complete)
    3: Graveyard (92% Complete)
    4: The Past (84% Complete)

Weird. I might try a third run. It's fun trying out different class combos. However, as fun as this game is, there really is no challenge. Maybe I'll try solo with Barbarian next.
