  1. Knights of Charlemagne from battlephase.com $1.99 should come out April 8th.
    - A cunning AI to play against -- 3 difficulty levels including King Charlemagne himself!

    - Challenge a human opponent in 2 player mode.

    - In-game help for beginning players (turn on/off in rules section)

I have Lost Cities and BattleLine which I both love also by Knizia. I can't say I've ever played this game though also known as Tabula Rasa. Some say this is better with 3 players but I've read others who say it's fine with 2 players. So I'll get it and play it with an open mind.

Looks interesting. Is this a turn-by-turn strategy game? Cant tell but thats what it seems like.

Or is it a Real time strategy game. I cant tell if you build and upgrade or not.

vConquer, Lux DLX both fit in that space. It's a good category to try out if you're into strategy games.

  6. Hmmm makes me wonder how well this German board games will fair on the iphone. You guys honestly never heard of Lost Cities (1999) or BattleLine (2000)? Hope I'm not breaking forum rules here if so mod please take out these links. I cover Lost Cities here and BattleLine here. Hmmm....go play 1 round vs computer of Lost Cities as a guest at flexgames.com java game.

So yes Knights of Charlemagne (1995) is very similiar to both those games and the mechanics were used to make those hit games. Like I said I've never played it but the cards are numbered 1,2,3,4,5 in a few different colors. You conquer estates by placing your knights there to battle it out.
