Really pleased you have decided not to change chests; I can't see any problem at all with the current set up. As I have said in a previous post it adds another level of tactics for each battle.

Well, your games are really good Niebau and now with updated visuals and usuability, even better gameplay and your own presence in the forums, it is no surprise, really. More like your just due . Anyway, did I understand correctly that you will eventually update to allow us to keep the equipment of departing characters? It would be really great and hopefully not too much work. BTW - I am kind of wondering why the prologue characters don't have any of the equipment (and possibly exp, I didn't check) that I have earned for them when they returned in the main campaign?
You've got that right. It's implemented and tested already. We are still waiting for Apple's review of the first patch (v. 2.01). As soon as this patch is published, we'll hand in version 2.02, comprising the following changes: - New Option 'Permanent Knockout' added. If enabled, defeated player characters remain unconscious for the duration of the scenario - Fast scrolling added to character and item lists (swipe while touching the scrollbar) - Characters leaving the player's party leave their equipment behind now - Issue fixed where a character's HP weren't displayed at dialogs sometimes - Version tag added to the main menu Technically the prologue and the main campaign are totally separated, meaning right now we can't exchange data between different campaigns. In Kingturn Plus and Kingturn Underworld we've learned our lesson, though. We've integrated both prologues into the main campaigns, so Kingturn is the only (rueful) exception in this regard.

Niebau, Just for my info is it easier to code in android or iOS? What about windows 8 rt environment?

Both systems (iOS and Android) present their very own challenges. So it's really hard to tell which one is easier to code for. It also depends on the technologies a developer is already familiar with. If you asked 10 developers this question, you would quite likely get 10 different answers. Here you can find a thread about an iOS vs Android programming discussion.
Don't know if any of you were gaming on flip phones like I did back in the day, but this game reminds me a lot of Ancient Empires I & II. Well, minus the battle animations. Didn't realize that until I downloaded this and gave it a go. Great game! Makes me miss Ancient Empires too.
Release Notes 2.01 Since Apple's (waiting for) review process took a little longer than expected this time, we have decided to skip upon the initially planned two releases (2.01 bug fix release and 2.02 feature release). Instead there will be only one release now (version 2.01) which covers all bug fixes and new features. Here are the final release notes: - New Option 'Permanent Knockout' added.
