Totally, it's great sequel of Kindom: New Lands! Masterpiece yay! Edit: I hope it would have cloud save. I asked when I ordered the game. Amazing news. Many worked on it before, until they came across a roadblock. But if they’ll make it work, I’d be more than happy for sure! I’m just keeping my hopes on realistic levels. ste86uk likes this. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #8 ste86uk, Apr 27, 2020 @macplash of course I understand that as it often seems like iOS and mobile is the most forgotten about when something is released on multiple platforms so it’s not a to think like that. I guess often it isn’t worth their time and money hoping on it becoming a big hit. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #9 metalcasket, Apr 27, 2020 This is glorious. I was under the presumption that it was just New Lands with co-op, but upon finding out that there was a Bloodstained crossover, couldn't resist pre-ordering. Bloodstained is something I've lost many, many hours of my life to (y'know, waiting for it to actually come out ) and I still get giddy whenever I remember my name's in the credits. Combine it with the perfect "strategy game for folks who hate strategy games" gameplay of Kingdom and we have a winner on our hands. I, however, will resist playing Dead Lands until I've exhausted the Two Crowns and Shogun campaigns. So, what is this really? It's basically a massive expansion to New Lands with new campaigns and co-op. Does the core gameplay really differ from New Lands? Not really. Should you pick up New Lands instead? Absolutely not. The only caveat with this is that it makes New Lands redundant, but given that it's been a few years and this contains significant new content, it's not unfair to reward the developers for their work, rather than approach this from a "THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN A FREE UPDATE HURR DURR" perspective. Highly recommended. And again... Starting 11 PM EST, PLEASE DON'T BUY NEW LANDS ANYMORE! houseofg and ste86uk like this. ioso Well-Known Member Jul 6, 2017 123 27 28 Male #10 ioso, Apr 27, 2020 I hope it’ll have cloud save ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #11 ste86uk, Apr 27, 2020 @metalcasket I can’t wait to try it having never played the first either, so thank you for the feedback on it making that rather pointless to buy now. Although I don’t know how it evaded me all of this time. Cant wait for tonight for it to download, although it’ll likely be tomorrow before I can check it out. So you have to choose to play the dlc it’s not like all just part of one big world that’s added to the base game? Rocksaint Well-Known Member Nov 29, 2013 666 367 63 #12 Rocksaint, Apr 27, 2020 Had it pre-ordered. Started playing it. One hour just flew by like it was nothing and I still wanna keep playing. Too bad I have work in the morning. It has a certain calmness to it all. A soothing feeling. And it’s so satisfying to see your small kingdom grow. It definitely has that “one more day” hook to it. And then there’s always that urge whether to strengthen, expand or explore. It’s already 1 AM here. Can’t wait to play more tomorrow. ste86uk likes this. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #13 ste86uk, Apr 27, 2020 With that comment above how does saving work on this game? Just save whenever you want? metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #14 metalcasket, Apr 27, 2020 Like @solarnya alluded to above, no...you're free to play whichever campaign you want to right from the main "menu". Also, it's not DLC. I know you guys know that, but the term's a little misleading for those unaware. It's all part of the game and no additional purchases and/or downloads are required. solarnya and ste86uk like this. I've been sitting on my ass since basically summer 2019 with my MA in hand and nothing to do with it. Lebanon, how I love you. The revolution came along and instead of things getting better, we were hit with an economical crisis and capital control. What am I trying to get at? It's hard trying to balance purchases when you're only allowed to spend $100 a month on the internet. Not by choice, mind you. This has totally been imposed on us. I'm lucky my bank knows I spend around that much. My old man's limit is $15. FIFTEEN ****ING DOLLARS. A MONTH! What I can tell you, however, is to take one thing into consideration with this: It's been launched on mobile with literally all the content from the other versions, at half the price. I'm not one to say Playdigious aren't fantastic at what they do on mobile, but hey, Dead Cells on mobile has waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaays to go before it catches up to its console brethren. Raw Fury and the devs could have easily decided to add Dead Lands to the game at a later stage, but nope, it came to iOS at the exact same time as the other versions. houseofg, L.Lawliet, Gwarmaxx and 1 other person like this.
