This game is challenging. You totally need items to complete it......if you're a little girl. Must've grown up in the playstation era. Back in the 8 bit days there were no second chances or continues. PERMADEATH!!!
Just beat it in like three minutes. Barely even a challenge. I have no clue how to do video capture on an iPad to upload to YouTube, so sorry. I think you should rethink if you're good at this game before passing any judgement. By the time I had beaten the game (as in 75 of 75 stars and all free heros at max) I had something like 14,000 gems because I didn't buy any items. I dumped half in hearts and half in money bags. I look forward to the new update. If the new levels are free I will buy a hero. If they aren't free I might still buy a 99 cent one...
My little brother is quite good at kingdom rush but my little sister isn't. It is a realistic expression.

You made a blanket statement that girls are bad at games, not a specific example. If you want to compare a specific person to a specific person, like the poster and your sister, you know how to do that.
You do not need items to complete any level or any challenge in the entire game. You just need skill. Stop complaining.
People actually complain this game is too hard...? I was going to say its too easy haha. MORE CHALLENGE! You can easily beat most levels on your first try if you think it through and don't just mindlessly place towers.
The news item on the main menu says that the heroes are on sale now. Do they mean that they are available to purchase, or is there a sale pending on the actual purchase price?
They just released a free update to the game with an hour or two of gameplay. You don't have to buy a hero if you don't want to. They are not greedy.
Yea I saw that but the heroes still have their regular prices. Are they going to put them on sale soon?
Nice mini update - tried the first level this morning, 1 enemy slipped through right on the last wave - gutted lol. Anyone tried the new heroes? The monk looks interesting. Not going for the turtle bloke with a laser or whatever it is on his back - kind of ruins it for me playing with 'fake' characters. Like the alien hero.
The sale is on... In Europe the first three characters cost €0,89 the two biggies are sold for €2,69 and the dragon is €4,49. The two new characters are not discounted.
The alien hero is the best in my opinion however. They all seem pretty "fake" to me. Some rock golem, dragon, ice queen, etc. so I'm not sure what the big deal is. Anyhow there's a HERO SALE going on now. I would still recommend Sha'tra as the best hero overall (and coolest). Take your pick!
