ok my game is still not saving. Am I missing something? If I close it I have to restart from the beginning upon opening again.
Reminds me of craft the world meets deer god I figured how to tell what day it is This is a game to take your time with Think out strategies and figure out things I really like the environment and just playing it slow and enjoying the overall atmosphere
If anyone like me would rather have a guide instead of running left and right for hours with no clue about what is going on, there are a lot of great guides already posted from the PC version (steam, IGN, etc)
First impressions: Hadn't heard of it or played it on PC, but am loving it so far. Great visuals and music remind me of Sword & Sorcery a bit. Haven't gotten very far but enjoying the challenge of figuring everything out. I do like roguelikes and management sims, so that's probably part of why I like it. Re: Price, I think I can easily get 10 hours out of this, and a dollar an hour (or less if I play more) seems fair to me.
Just figured out how to upgrade to stone walls and towers, really helps. Man I love this game, I keep finding new things. And it's just beautiful in terms of audio-visual.
My first (real world) night with Kindgom New lands left me in glorious love with the game and with my eyes bleeding. I have some ideas already that I want to try in game as soon as possible and I just noticed in the settings there is a ingame map and I explored just a dot on a huge one. O_O
It's so absurdly early in the game it's not worth spoilering but I'm stuck at the get another bowman bit of the tutorial. It's telling me to swipe down, I'm doing it and nothing happens. Thanks in advance for any help here; I've tried starting a new game, same issue. Looks nice though; I like a bit of "I have no idea what's going on."
Swipe down and hold until your coin go inside the coin circle, or you can just tap the coin circle to pay
Own it on steam, great little game.. cool twist on tower defense, nothing quite like it.. not tempted to buy it again like Binding of Isaac or other ports though
I've tried every conceivable combination of swipes, taps and holds. It's just stuck with the animated finger supposedly showing me what to do. Edit: @dedyp79
Weird, controls perfect for me. If the coins need are 1-2 I just tap on the 'empty' coin. If there are more I just swipe down till they fill up. The only other controls are left or right (with 2 different speeds, I love when the horse is tired) and a single tap to drop a coin (and recruit). Weird...did you try to restart? EDIT: I see you solved, have fun!
Game doesn't save for me either. Also what's up with the intro graphics. The game loads faster than those stupid company logos. Very annoying to sit trough those every time for a mobile game. iOS developers, please make sure your game loads into actual gameplay as fast as possible.
I love the look of this game but if there is one word that will turn me off a game straight away it's 'roguelike'. This genre of games just does not do it for me. Just doing the same thing over and over again just reminds me to much of my job Every now and again I will relent and buy one based on reviews. The latest being The Binding of Isaac. I beat the first boss and now I have to really push myself to go back into play it. I know I am odd but I like a story and a sense of progression. Does Kingdom: New Lands offer that? And by the way I am now knocking anyone who loves roguelikes. Each to their own. It's just not for me
They work fine for me too. Actually I'm hopping between iPhone and iPad back and forth and all devices are always up to date.
