How do levels play into power? I can't tell if I'm getting stronger along with my medals, and it seems like the lvl 140 stuff would be nigh impossible with current medals... My 6* kh2 Riku barely dented them and they have huge health.
I don't know that player level affects anything, other than earning you more avatar coins. It's how you spend them on the avatar boards that increase keyblade medal cost, AP, and HP. Could be wrong, but I think your strength is tied to your medals and keyblade level which can multiply the strength of your medals.
Huh. Makes sense and I agree I guess. Lvl 20 for power and speed keyblades but the power differential between a 6* and lvl 140 or so is pretty nuts. Maybe more 6* will help but it'll be a while before I can field even 2
From my experience (level 180ish, with 1 6* and several 5* and the first key blade maxed), there have been only a handful of levels I can't complete in one turn. Those are usually the levels with the "optional" mini boss which are usually much harder than the actual target. A small bit of strategy (when to use your specials) and high level friends help too.
Oh the levels are easy enough. It's the challenge missions with lvl 140+ enemies (not stage 140 but enemies that are lvl 140) that seem more powerful than we can handle without a lot of power creep.
Well I guess this game is a good example of why energy restrictions exist. Having never ending energy killed my enthusiasm for this one. Just not enough meat to this one to play for multiple hours on end without restriction. After weeks of free access I just lost interest. Nostalgic and entertaining for a bit, but repetitive and not seeing much point in pushing forward.
Still playing, but I didn't play as much as others I guess. Finished up to quest 250 today and am glad to see that they're already talking about releasing new story missions early next month. I think I'll keep saving my jewels for special medal offers. They seem to come frequently. Has anyone found a good place to farm medals for leveling? I thought I encountered a level in the 200's that had three gold chests, but I can't recall which one it was now...
Sorry for misinterpreting your post a few up. Interesting side note: if you use your free gems on the avatar boards that require gems, you get 5 x cCid, and 3 each of 6* chip and dale. Helps with that power creep. I only figured this yesterday, so thought I'd share.
I hit the level cap this week and with it the inability to restore my AP with each level. It's pretty crushing and limits my playtime. It's only going to be worse once the half AP for missions is over. 30 AP for special missions means I'll be able to play 4-5 and then wait for 7 hours to restore AP... Hope they bump the level cap soon.
Confirmed. It's up on the UK App Store too now. Not sure if I can hack the F2P elements, but I will check in on others' impressions...
Does anyone know if this adds and new story element? I love the kingdom hearts series but willing to skip if it doesn't add anything to it.
